Knowing how often people tend to "rage quit" when they're about to lose I always just let opponents play out their nonsense in case they still need to get some dailies done.
Bro the dailies can be done without BMing and lifetime requirements are like 10-50 gems lmao. BMing is only done by brainless rotting fleshes
It also punishes you for conceding. It’s like they make the game as miserable as possible and punish you for avoiding unfun games

@@tails2012 I mean not everything was flood gate turbo. It is just that flood gates existed since the dawn of time LOL and a lot more powerful cards were released through GX and 5D's era. Personally loved 5Ds the most because synchros not only looked cool (white border is clean AF), It just made sense mechanically.
@@Altares_V yeah but pretty much it boils down to do you have removal if not swing to bait it which is why most decks just stall til they get busted spell trap or in some cases if they lights and dark play a chaos card and if it’s bls you practically win 100% agree once we got a way to actually access the extra deck more easily the game became a lot better since most deck are just play defend fort until they get their best cards since they’re best card are always accessible
@@Altares_V a lot of the early ygo players are just nostalgic for that era i think, it was when the game was at its simplest, basically just summon, attack, response, setup, end turn, its great when you are just doing stupid shit like rp'ing as the anime characters but boring when actually being played since there's nothing to innovate on, most games are like this when they first come out tbf, designers innovate to attract players, players figure optimal strategies, designers make changes to engage new players, etc.
@@Edge-xy3fv as someone who has played several card games on launch. I found not one of them to be "boring" but different for sure. YGO was no exception but it is definitely something with this generation of players who straight up find an actual card game with a build up towards a win condition over like multiple turns rather than let me just shyt out 5 beefy monsters with the most over the top convoluted setup known to man that is for some reason consistent all in one turn is baffling. Like that isn't exactly fun for most people on the receiving end. It adds up after hundreds of games and you just didn't go first therefore your opponent just solitaires for 10-20 minutes instead of actually playing against his/her opponent for the same amount of time. Also early YGO is leagues more degen than people remember it was just all of the cracked shyt wasn't bannable until like Chaos Emperor dragon. What key factors attract YGO players is usually nostalgia, actual good character design (from the cards and anime but not exactly some of the random boss monsters), and something you can never ignore, waifu factor. Dragons are cool but Japanese card games love their girls. But trying to show a brand new player the game of YGO now is like showing someone who's never played fighting games the amount of inputs you need to do for a combo in a KoF trial

30:20 - If this isn't one of the most *perfect* examples of modern Yugioh brain rot I don't know what is. The Child's Play deck took about 2:40 from start to final attack ...the Branded Labrynth game took about 4:31, over 50% longer.
That's the replay time, in game it could be longer but it is still correct on the interaction time

I think he did it because chixiao would negate slifer and set the atk to 0. So, the main issue was getting slifer instead of obelisk.
