i started to watch this the day it came out, got distracted and didn't get back to it till now, and boy howdy! You mislabeled the title! Its sooooo much more than "Rosettes". I should have known it would be "Beyond the average Rosette video"! Thanks for sharing. Love them and the card.
Loved watching this tutorial even tho' have made a ton of rosettes...however, I managed to pick up some helpful tips and I totally love the decorative edge you used! Those are so beautiful and I am definitely going to give that a try too! I really appreciate you showing what can be done with them, I have a box full and now I know I can use them! You are a true genius! Thanks for the time, effort, inspiration and sharing !
Are you talking about the red tool? It’s 4 wood dowels taped together with red cloth tape (any tape will do, really) all the way to create a “Square” piece, then I put a square of felt that you would stick to the bottom of your chair legs to prevent scuffing your floors. It works great for rosettes but also for getting into smaller spaces for pressing when gluing bottoms of boxes. Does that answer your question?
Thank you for this! You've explained everything so clearly and now I know what I need to do to make perfect rosettes.
