Just watched them film and some parts of the music reminded me of the film scores Goblin did, which didn't spoil my appreciation for the music which worked very well. I kept changing my my mind all way through the movie, thinking it was rather good in places. But, I thought that the ending was a cop-out and spoilt the mood and emotions generated. Such a shame about the final scene as it had the potential to be something much more.
What about the ending felt like a copout to you? How did you envision the story going forward? One of my favorite films for several reasons and genuinely interested in your take.
