- The Itmad-ud-Daulah's Tomb, often referred to as the "Baby Taj," is a Mughal-era mausoleum located in Agra, India. It is considered a precursor to the Taj Mahal due to its intricate design and use of white marble. Built between 1622 and 1628, this tomb was commissioned by Nur Jahan, the wife of Emperor Jahangir, in memory of her father, Mirza Ghiyas Beg, who held the title "Itmad-ud-Daulah," meaning "Pillar of the State.
Its like a jewel box, so nice architecture
The invaders destroyed thousands of ancient temples, including the Ellora cave temples, burned Nalanda university library with invaluable knowledge, that is the legacy of the Mughals. Are we now supposed to appreciate these Mughal buildings?
