I watched the excellent documentary "Spies Like Us" the other day, so I know that we have the best people working on de-escalating tensions between the nuclear nations
I'm 72 years old and all my life we lived with this and the only reason that you and I are still alive is that they don't want to die, most of my life on the west coast of the USA it's been only 15 minutes from such a blast. The point is they won't use those powerful bombs because they know they will die.

It's been really disturbing to me seeing how blase some people have been about the prospect of a nuclear war, which is realer than people think. All people care about is point-scoring on Twitter, rather than understanding the immense danger we're in. pray for a ceasefire.
@@HimuraKenshin-w1f they literally want the destruction of the US? Why should we allow that? They threaten to nuke us all the damn time. Screw off russian bot.
There's an error in that Russian video. The captions say Sheerness, which isn't a navy base, but the narration and the arrow on the map says Portsmouth, which is.
It's the Chinese J-20S and it's ability to leverage 3 hypersonic drones in attacks which should be keeping us up at night. We don't have enough F22's to maintain air superiority. Hypersonic drones are being developed (possibly already deployed and in use) as the only defense against hypersonic missiles.
That part about firing American long-range missiles means what they were using and have - ATACMS and Storm Shadow cruise missiles. It's disinformation because both are considered short or medium range depending on who you talk to. The ATACMS max range is 190 miles and Storm Shadow is 155 miles. As you can see those aren't long range. Long range is the RS-26 ICBM - which is a huge frickin' rocket - much larger than ATACMS. Just sick of seeing this disinformation spreading around.
I've been honestly very scared lately with this Ukraine war and all the nuclear talk.. actually had some essentials packed ready to hit the road and look for a cave. I apprechiate your videos, but as a person who lives well within the range of the missiles I can tell you these missiles are useless. If Putin were to shoot a nuclear missile at a NATO country, he would promptly get a reply from a US, UK or French nuclear armed submarine and die within minutes of the attack. This is a suicide for Putin. So you got to ask yourself, is shooting missiles into Russia putting Putin into a suicidal mood? No. So what are the nuclear missiles for? They work wonderfully as a propaganda tool, which you're contributing to, with this video. Letting a dictator take peoples lives and freedoms away. The only language Putin understands is strength and power. Dont repeat Obama's mistake and show weakness.
Furthermore, I just want to remind everyone that Ukraine gave up their nuclear weapons in 1994 in exchange for security assurances from Russia and USA. If USA faulters it will only mean that more nations needs to develop nuclear weapons to defend themselves. Failing to support Ukraine in its battle for freedom will only lead to more nuclear weapons, not less.
While in Russia they do animated videos of the countries that will be destroyed in a nuclear strike, the West doesn't even do that in the slightest, but sure we are a danger to the world, sure.
@@oliilo1Ukraine never had nuclear weapons. The Soviet Union had nuclear weapons deployed in Ukraine, but that doesn't make them Ukrainian. Ukraine also isn't part of NATO so do you really expect a NATO nuclear power to retaliate on their behalf?
@@KetchPhraz You're wrong, but even on a technicality I dont think that detail will matter when the world sees the US breaking its promises. Seems like it doesn't it. This is nuclear war 101. The US has had missiles with this capacity since at least the 70's. Of course if Putin was insane enough to explode nuclear weapons over London and Paris, Russia would be hit back many times worse.
Kinda…. I did find it interesting. I’m an American, so the RS-26, while frightening, doesn’t scare me a whole lot…. The odds are, they’re just filled with cardboard and trash bags from the base they are on…. Or the trash from the submarine…. Let’s be honest, all the fissile material has probably been removed and sold to terrorist groups by now…😂

If fired from Russia it would not make it to the US. But Russia’s RS-28 would make it. Bigger rocket and probably similar payloads.
