I think earth's gravity is responsible it. Imagine cooling phase while moons one face is continously exposing towards earth. This may leads to continously pulling force to near side of moon face.

भाई मेरा एक सवाल है अगर जवाब दें तो बहुत धन्यवादी हूंगा। सवाल यह है कि जैसे सबको पता है कि चंद्रमा सूर्य की रोशनी के कारण हमें चमकता हुआ नजर आता है और अमावस्या से लेकर पूर्नीमा तक इसके चमकता हुआ भाग बड़ा होता जाता है। यह भी तथ्य है कि पूर्णमासी को चांद की वजह से समुद्र में ज्वार-भाटा आता है तो मेरा सवाल यह है कि पूर्णमासी को ही चंद्रमा धरती के समुद्री पानी को इतना क्यों अपनी तरफ खींचता है अमावस्या को क्यों नहीं?
