baudellio charles sweet! It’s a lot of fun and like I said it’s a way to decompress and geek out on a mountain to kill a day. When are you going to test for your ticket (license)?
Jerry Hildeman I need to find a testing facility, there couple clubs in my area however I tried contacting them one bounce back in the email they listed and the other I don't see signs anywhere I think where I'm at in Alabama I think it's freeze dried. I'm originally from California myself living in a friendly gun state.
Jerry Hildeman I'm hoping to take the exam in three months depending if I can get more involved. I just need studying flash cards online at hamexam.org
baudellio charles totally down for gun friendly state! Life member of NRA and have hunted & fished my whole life. As for testing locations check www.qrz.com or www.arrl.org for optional testing locations. You can also check with your city fire Dept or EOC since Alabama is prone to hurricanes they should be able to help you with testing too. If you still run into a wall let me know and I’ll dig up some contacts for you.
I registered. Look forward to chasing.
Nice, clear explanation.
I so want to activate sota once I get my ham radio, thanks
