I don't think it's bad ... I think he's a very tormented guy who actually thinks of it well has the same purpose as all the others ... Close the Malivore portal forever. Obviously the methods he uses are anything but lawful. In the last episode I was sorry to see him so aggressive towards Hope ... But the same Julie Plec said that they will have a relationship similar to that of Bonnie and Damon ... So we'll see if we could finally see the best side of Clarke.
You can literally feel the chemistry between Hope and Clarke. I love how understandable they are towards one another. I hope that their connection grows and the way he looks at her is so beautiful. I really wish Clarke comes back alive and him and hope have some sort of relationship (romantic like damon & Elena but hopefully stronger or a friendship like bonnie & elena& Caroline) I also wish the writers fix Clarke and Landon relationship as half-brothers + Raphael as 3 strong brothers who look out for each other and forgive.
They didn't shoot many scenes together, despite this they managed to transmit much more chemistry than the scenes of hope with Landon or Rafael. This is an opinion I read from many comments on the first episode.

I ship it 100% but most of people ship Landon and Hope or Rafael and Hope. I want Hope and Clarke endgame !!!!!!!!
