I'm glad you encourage your boys to grow their hair out and express themselves. I was always ignorant and curious about my hair becuase my dad would always cut it keep it short. One day i told him that i was growing my hair out and the rest was history. Glad more black men are embracing their hair. I think hip hop culture is influencing that as well since a lot of black men like to imitate their favorite artist and styles.
I just find it funny how all the guys in the comments just want their mom to accept them and their hair. It's so cute tbh

You should wait about 2-3 week before you shampoo/condition, but be very careful not to disturb the twist (focus on cleansing the scalp).

You should be able to achieve this look with your length and a gel or lotion that doesn't flake.
