You're right that Myungho (pronounced as 'Myeong-ho) is The8's Korean name. Yes, adding "ah (아)/ya (야)" at the end is calling him in an informal (more friendly) way. Meanwhile, when you hear the "eh" sound after a name, it's most likely to be the particle "의" for possession (Myungho's turn). But in this case, the one you heard was Myungho "hae" which means Myungho "go".
i think it was the myungho-yah. which is the informal one, usually the ending particle for informal way differs depending on the last letter it follows most of the time if its a vowel its -ya, and if its a consonant its -ah. hence jeonghan-ah, jun-ah, shua-yah, mingyu-yah
@@yssavocal Oh, I read the Korean subtitles and it was "Myungho hae---" (said by Jeonghan). Unless she heard it at a diff timestamp. You're right that the correct form is Myungho-yah though, instead of Myungho-ah:) I just don't think Angie's in a situation where she can take korean grammar/construction so I just picked what she mentioned. But I added what you said on my main comment still. Thanks!
Happy birthday to our gentle, sexy, and ever-supportive big brother, Shua! (っ.❛ ᴗ ❛.)っ🐰

@@khazelming I agree, at the certain time stamp when minghao is ready to kick, jeonghan said “myungho, hae!” which means “myungho, do it”
