I've been a fan of Coldplay for more than 20 years. I had never listened to BTS before. Of course I heard of the name but never watched their MV. But because of this collaboration, I listened to BTS for the first time. The boys are adorable and very talented. Especially V's voice capture my heart. Not surprised why they are super popular.

How awesome would it be to see BTS on Graham Norton again but treated like the talented men they are and not like spectacles, like their other appearance on here. As in, being asked actual questions and not “introduce yourselves ha ha ha”. These men are rich with humor and experience and stories and it’s all wasted on half-assed mentions and interviews in these non-Korean appearances. Oh well.
It would be so funny if they came on and spoke about the hilarious shenanigans they have gotten up to over the years, stories like The Dumpling Incident would be perfect for the Graham Norton Show. I do agree, but to be fair, with GN at least, most of the interviews with the musicians that come on to perform are like that - they only come on right at the end, so there’s never really time to have a proper discussion with them

@@mann7298 I would have to respectfully disagree, I'm one of those people that regularly binge watches Grahams show and I felt that how he spoke to BTS was different from how he speaks to other musical guests. The difference may have been due to what questions he was allowed to ask BTS (due to the language barrier), or due to a lack of familiarity and cultural differences, but as a regular viewer of many years it did seem different to me. No hate to Graham though, he is hands down my favourite interviewer.
@@loftyradish6972 maybe in that sense that they have a very different approach to others with language barrier and probably more restricted questions. i get that point as well, but i personally didnt get the vibe of them being treated as 'spectacles' like mentioned above, so in that sense to me they were treated like others. most musical guests however are different to them in regards to language barrier and then being familiar to main stream audience for longer time. bts have done this very similar thing of introducing themselves on each show when they go for the first time, hinting that it is more given set of question from their end, rather than the show they are visiting. and bc the time is so short with musical guests, we only saw very little. but i do get your point!

@@crystalsnow1138 there is a special way to skip the 14-day quarantine for fully vaccinated people who ask for a special permission at Korean Embassies. What the mentioned here sounds like that process
idk if anyone is really all that shocked, asian countries are traditionally more collectivistic while most western countries are very individualistic.

How awesome would it be to see BTS on Graham Norton again but treated like the talented men they are and not like spectacles, like their other appearance on here. As in, being asked actual questions and not “introduce yourselves ha ha ha”. These men are rich with humor and experience and stories and it’s all wasted on half-assed mentions and interviews in these non-Korean appearances. Oh well.
It would be so funny if they came on and spoke about the hilarious shenanigans they have gotten up to over the years, stories like The Dumpling Incident would be perfect for the Graham Norton Show. And going through some of their antics on twitter on birthdays like when Jin made their twitter page all his face, or when ARMY started Photoshopping beards on all of them for April fools.
I do agree, but to be fair, with GN at least, most of the interviews with the musicians that come on to perform are like that - they only come on right at the end, so there’s never really time to have a proper discussion with them
please familiarize yourself with the show :) they have only been musical guests, that only includes like 2 minutes of interview time afterwards and the way they have been treated has been very normal. i would however like them to be invited as proper guests bc then they would have time to actually talk and share their stories. they have been treated just like anyone else on graham, nothing less
@@mann7298 I would have to respectfully disagree, I'm one of those people that regularly binge watches Grahams show and I felt that how he spoke to BTS was different from how he speaks to other musical guests. The difference may have been due to what questions he was allowed to ask BTS (due to the language barrier), or due to a lack of familiarity and cultural differences, but as a regular viewer of many years it did seem different to me. No hate to Graham though, he is hands down my favourite interviewer.
@@loftyradish6972 maybe in that sense that they have a very different approach to others with language barrier and probably more restricted questions. i get that point as well, but i personally didnt get the vibe of them being treated as 'spectacles' like mentioned above, so in that sense to me they were treated like others. most musical guests however are different to them in regards to language barrier and then being familiar to main stream audience for longer time.
bts have done this very similar thing of introducing themselves on each show when they go for the first time, hinting that it is more given set of question from their end, rather than the show they are visiting. and bc the time is so short with musical guests, we only saw very little. but i do get your point!
