I was in third grade, when our teacher introduced us to the opera Ieda. I have had a facination for Egypt ever since.

My heart will forever be in Egypt ❤
One of my biggest regrets is not having been able to spend at least a night in the desert 💔 Maybe I do not have enough information, but my impression is that there are too few desert tour operators that charge fees which are high- unaffordable for solo travellers. Whereas I appreciate that there are concerns about the safety of tourists and about the costs related to transportation and other business running costs, I believe that it would be a good idea to find alternatives including in zones further away from oases. Say, for example, in Luxor area. And use trusted local people, not just a few tourist companies to support the locals.

Water was poured into a container pulling the blocks up, Let the water out lowering the blocks. Just like a ox pulling water out of a well. Instead of a ox, water as a counter weight. Wax as a lubricant

If it was built over a river you could lay a rope over the other side. Inflate with water to pull. Deflate to retrieve. Or a panama canal water way. Float it to the top. With that many people their had to be a large water source.

Reply to abusive message from the "machine" :I know you are just a poorly paid and frightened employee of the military dictatorship, who kill twenty thousand innocent Egyptian young people every year and wonder why on earth we are talking about just one Italian ?? It is not hate for the murderous dictators, but love for the poor victims that spurs us to continue this information campaign, to save other poor teenagers from the daily horrors that are the sad reality for anyone who crosses or even makes a simple mistake in front of the dreaded military/police agents who are free to kidnap, rape and torture to death whoever they please. It is so hard for people from civilised states to believe that this is the daily terror Egyptians live with, in 2023. Sadly, it is all too true.
I spent many years as a senior UN official on missions in that region. It is old news to me. But if we save even one innocent from their claws, it is worth it to keep trying.
Keep away from Egypt, if you value your freedom and your life !
