It felt very balanced and in character, I liked how sans wasn't the all knowing entity that some reacts made him out to be, it's nice to him almost as in the dark as the other characters. Glitchtale was named after the word "There was a Glitch in the timeline" so yes, Glitchtale is just a Glitched version of Undertale where errors and everything getting disoriented, so many glitches to be seen, as well as the timeline rapidly changing times and timelines when Frisk or Chara isn'g resetting it.
