Great little vid. Concise and to the point. Guys ... stop busting his balls about the 'regular spring' comment. When you're doing a video, talking, trying to keep it short but not leave out too much your brain heads to the side and the word you're looking for escapes recall. Keeping the flow he threw in 'regular' .... so fk'n what. Great vid. Thanks for taking the time bro!
so the wrangler from 88-2002 had no v-8 option from the factory nor did the cherokee xj but the grand cherokee zj wj etc was the v-8 models on the xj there was a 4.2 inline 6 cylinder but no wrangler or xj had v-8 options not trying to be an ass or anything
Im planing on buying a first jeep got 2 options 4.0 XJ or 5.2 ZJ, both in good condition, both got around 200-250k kilometers, wich one should i get, im planing on doing some trail riding, bit mudding, towing with friends pajero 3.5 v6 and terrano II 2.7td
What gearing do you recommend for the Jeep Wrangler's with 4.0, manual, and running 32s? I do drive a lot of highway speeds here in Texas where the speed limit is 80mph.
Started in a '03 TJ, ended up in a '15 JKU. Thinking about flipping and picking up a '95-'97 XJ for budget/financial reasons. Anyone's opinions/recommendations/input on making that move would be greatly appreciated. THanks!
a 4 cyl Jeep is the worst POS I have ever driven, my lawnmower has better pickup. This was a test drive on road out of the dealership and still the 4 cyl was complete garbage. If your buying a Jeep get the inline 6 or V8 if your getting the ZJ

What do I look at in the engine when I go look at older jeep? Do they all have cracked exhaust manifold?
Nice vid! Regards from Guatemala

Stock gearing is more than fine
3.55 should work well. Or 3.73 for more pep and power.

AT THE 1.00 MARK, WHAT IS REGULAR SPRINGS?
Coil Springs.
I ran 35s on my 97tj with the 2.5 motor and on my 90yj I had 31s on a 2.5 motor loved both set up!
Did you have any issues with going up hills with the bigger tires and smaller motor? I'm thinking of getting a 2.5l for a bit better mileage
Brehn Pander don’t. Its very underpowered and you’ll just wish you had the 4.0. Merging on the highway is dangerous
@@brehnpander6562 4.0 is still decent on MPG...
ChrisYaBish well you were right I do want the 4.0 the 2.5 is slow as hell with 32” mud tires
I have 1991 Jeep Yj Jeep is the best
Yj= bumpy ride !
yj tomorrow 500 bucks
