Rick and Morty is AWESOME! Between the Rick and Morty VR game and the surprise launch of Rick and Morty Season 3 on April Fool's Day, everyone is ready to get schwifty with Rick and the gang. But while we eagerly await more schezwan sauced adventures, there's a theory that's been brewing in the background, one that hits on one of my other favorite cartoons of all time -- Gravity Falls. Now that, that is an episode worth watching.

I think if theres a season 3 of Gravity Falls it'll be with 2 different kids and revealing that grunkle stan was actually Bill and Bill was manipulating time and REMOVING dipper and mabel's time in Gravity Falls so 2 different kids arrive and since Stanley left Soos is still running the shack, so Grunkle Soos and an adult Dipper replaces Soos in his old position, and Mabel is the Wendy in this shifted world.
12:20 there is also a gemstone, the same one that makes things larger and shrinks things on the tray with the plumbus. Dipper uses the gemstone by putting it on a flashlight and making himself be the same height as Mabel after Mabel makes fun of him for being shorter

Did you know that The Owl House is also mixed into this? In a episode where the main character goes to the human realm in the background you can see a watched picture of Eda (a mentor/witch) with her human name being the same as Stan’s ex that he dated then broke up when she stole his car, which is very much in character for Eda. This also means that Amphibia is tied into this as The Owl house, amphibia and gravity falls are all connected :)
And I'm pretty sure SVTFOE was connected to this world as well.
In my head it was always these four: TOH, Gravity Falls, SVTFOE, and Amphibia.
(Basically, of course, and not by any particular link.)
Technically all shows are able to connect, but some are closer than others and more likely to. Sometimes two shows are in the same overall universe and not even separate.
(Dim Stars would lead you to where the show is directly, so they are separate, but they can bring you to the same dim. For example, there is a Dim Star for both Phineas and Ferb & Milo Murphy's Law, but they are literally in the same dimension.)
I think it's pretty interesting that those shows are very closely tied like that though. Interesting Easter eggs.
Also: the two new shows (the owl house and Amphibia which already ended) appear to be connected to gravity falls buy this logic so throw those two into the pot, and another one is when you look at the skeleton table featured in one of the gravity falls episodes it looks like "the thing that doesn't exist" from the phineas and ferb opening so there's also that.
Wouldn't it make more sense that Rick left that message, purposefully in bills code to mess with him? Similarly in the episode with the council of ricks they check his portal gun history, couldnt that explain the mug, pen and notebook? Rick frantically opening portals to previously visited dimensions

Plus, in the letter from Blendin (in the Journal again) if you decipher it, he mentions a movie called “Return Backwards to Past Again 3” which I’m pretty sure is a movie mentioned in Rick and Morty. It’s a shame there probably won’t be a crossover.
Hey Matt, you probably won't see this, but I found some evidence that backs it up even more. The episode of Society of the Blind Eye in Gravity Falls came out AFTER Close Rickcounters of the Rickkind. This means that the items that flew from Stan's hand were planned out before the actual episode aired and implemented on Rick and Morty first.

And yes, we do know the Rick and Morty episode was released before the Gravity Falls episode. Thats how time works. Just because the episodes have screwy timelines doesn't mean we can't have reliable time in reality. Close Rick-counters of the Rick Kind premiered on April 7, 2014. Society of the Blind Eye premiered on October 27, 2014. April comes before October, you see?

When I try to picture a crossover, I just imagine a small scene where a man in a trench coat with a pixelated face and J.K.Simmons’ voice comes running up to Rick in a crowd, begging for help because “he” has returned. Rick doesn’t engage with him, and when Morty asks why his face was pixelated after they’ve walked away, Rick just says dismissively that his face was copyrighted.
I don’t know, it just popped into my head. I can see a little nod like this happening, though, one that confirms the crossover theories while avoiding the need to pay for the rights to a Disney character.

I've watched all the seasons 3 times and i don't understand. EXPLAIN
@@satan-pm5er Oy. For those who don't understand, in season 1 Morty asked Rick to make a love potion so Jessica will fall in love with him. Rick gives him the potion, but then the entire city falls in love with him. With me so far? Good. K, so Rick tries to make a cure, but it ends up back firing and the WORLD is in love with him, and are turned into creepy mantis people. Remember that? Great. So, since the world is all creepy, Rick takes Morty to a dimension similar to their own, except they found a cure, but the Rick and Morty of THAT dimension die, so the Rick and Morty of C137 replace them. K? So that was in season 1. Season 3, first episode, Summer undigs (I don't know if that's a word, but whatever...) Rick's grave, and finds Rick's portal gun. Morty takes her to the dimension C137, and shows her what happened. Rick destroyed everyone in it, (well, we thought he did, until we found that they were alive...)and us viewers were almost certain that the Sanchez family were also dead, until we learned that they're alive, and hate Rick.
