      Same. I mean, don't get me wrong, I LOVE my MT-1501, but the Swift's new LCD panel and upgraded features is SLAYING me.

      @@fiercekittenz what do you think of the marquee 2001 compared to the swifts? We’re can’t decide on which one

      @@artsandcraftscienfuegos7619I can't speak from hands-on experience, but I would go with the Swift if I had to choose today.

      I got my tc1501 at the end of September. I only had it a week or two when they announced the new machine. I was so bummed! Lol

    😂 This was an amazing take on Ricoma embroidery. I have an Em1010 machine.

    Kittenz on my shoulder: that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get one

      LOL! Well, if it helps at all to stop you, multineedles are a heck of an investment financially and dedicated space in your home. I do not regret nose diving into multineedle embroidery though. I'm absolutely lazy and cannot stand to change the thread every few seconds. Most of my designs have several colors and lemme tell you it gets ANNOYING to change it out on the colors that only need to make 50 or so stitches.

      How do you like it?? I'm legit considering buying a second machine, because when I get big orders, they're BIG.

      Hopefully will be delivered in a week and definitely will let you know. My last big order kicked my behind had to purchase another machine.

    Very good summary and comparison of their machines. I couldn't figure out the differences between the Swift and SwiftXL machines on their site but you made it perfectly clear. I also liked that you had pricing in there because I didn't see that online.

    • @fiercekittenz
      @fiercekittenz  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I asked my rep for a rough estimate of pricing just so people could have an idea of the investment. I didn't want to do the video without that, though it is definitely important to recognize the pricing may bounce around as time passes or as the company offers sales.

    I know totally off topic. What needle do you recommend for sewing water-proof canvas? I have been hating the results of what I am using right now. I can’t tell you what needle because I have lost the package in my sewing fall out …here some…where. TIA.

    • @fiercekittenz
      @fiercekittenz  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Oh it's ok! Always feel free to ask questions no matter the video topic! For the waterproof canvas, I tend to sew that with at least a 90/14 needle on a domestic machine. My Juki DU-1181N (industrial) typically has size 21 needles in it. I've never successfully sewn on it with anything smaller (hence the reason I also have a Janome HD9).
      This is reminding me I need to do a video on my sewing machines and why I have what I have.
