My guess is... it's because it seems to be a name. You don't change a name to the specified language for convenience. That's why certain people's names have other meanings... in other languages. Even if a name translates to something else that doesn't mean it has to be directly translated... even if it's the name of an organization.

David Shield was his sidekick when All Might was in America. he's like his version of support girl Hajime. i don't know why they didn't translate the group and Overhaul being the Eight Precepts of Death.
Coz they wanted to keep Overhaul's group a Mystery, whether they are Villains or Rogue Vigilantes, Death in group name totally makes it clear they are Villains
Most people forget that Mirio can't go solid when overlapping with something that has mass, he'll just be pushed back when he deactivates his quirk inside something.
I think if anything the scars are from him messing up by deactivating his quirk while overlapping and getting propelled at high speed into something while he's still solid. That makes the most sense to me

I realize it might get a bit confusing from the perspective of the present, but it's basically impossible for any of these episodes to refer to anything from the move (unless they're specifically altered to do so, like that one filler episode for charity) because they had no idea the movie would be happening when the chapters these episodes are based on were originally written.

Victor Tran David shield isn’t technically a hero or sidekick. He was the tech person for him like mei hatsume is for midoriya. It’s said in the manga that sir is the only sidekick that all might has had.

I just realized Mirio never has to shower, dirt just falls off of him whenever he phases. Sweat might still stick to him i guess but since it's no longer an actual part of his body you'd think that it too would just fall off.
the thing about kids getting screwed over when first developing their quirks, the explanaition i came up with is, that the quirk isnt as strong when it newly manifests in a kid, we saw that with kchan's quirk, when he 1st manifested it the explosions were tiny . and harmless, i think its the same for all the others
I honestly hated Mob Psycho 100 initially, I didn't like Mob in the slightest and just...blehed. His name was perfect to me, he was a "mob"(It's an old game term). Then I think it was around episode 4 or 5 I started to realize some stuff about Mob.. And by episode 10 I was like "this is just..god this is awesome." OPM on the other hand was much easier to "Get into", it had a great early hook. Mob Psycho has more emotional depth, but it comes at the price of taking more time to get to the gold.
Here we are guys and gals. We have reached the end of this journey (for now) It has been amazing rewatching the show (for the 100th time) with y'all. Really intrigued with the Big Three. Can’t wait to see more of them in Seaosn 4. Mirio’s already become one of my favourite characters. And just like that, Blind Wave have officially caught up with My Hero Academia. What a wild ride it has been. I think this has been the best season of My Hero so far. The first half of this season had me on the edge of my seat. Absolutely loved the ride as well as Deku vs Bakugo fight and the introduction of the Big Three. Deku vs Muscular was also great. So many good moments in this season. Man the wait until October will be tough. So far away but it allows the quality for MHA to remain consistent. I’m so glad Hunter X Hunter has won the poll. Really excited to see Blind Wave’s adventure with that anime. I started it last year where I watched both versions and the OVAs. I’m so excited. I still watch the dub weekly. Can’t wait! :D

David Shield as a character was created way after 'the sir', now i don't know if the movie is canonical but all might's true sidekick or at least the first one we got introduced to was 'sir'
What I do like about My Hero Academia is that the Quirks have limitations to them, they are not all powerful and perfect, there are ways to counter them, some easier than others. Also, My Hero universe does have superhero teams and organizations, some were shown and even mentioned in season 1-3.
What I like about him is his line about predicting, since when he decides to fall I'm assuming he has to memorize everything and then know the angle he has to take which really sounds fucking hard imo. Also while underground you dont know what your opponent is doing so even more prediction, like if some villain decides to jump real high when he dives so I assume he has fast reactions and quick thinking, which might be the reason he was surprised at Deku cause he cant read body language 24/7 but still reacted to it

Mirio was made to look like Tin Tin, and he didn't mess with anyones eyes but even if you know that it will phase through you, when something flies towards your eyes it's extremely hard to not close your eyes....
New viewer/subscriber/patron here...the movie just released on bluray yesterday and I watched it and literally cannot wait for your reaction/discussion video because multiple times I thought of what your reactions will be while I watched it
Generally I feel like anything that is similar to Obitos Kamui from Naruto it will generally be absolutely op. Additonally, the manga clarifies that, when he says POWAH the first time, he actually took down the entire backline of class 1.A in about 5 seconds, which is absolutely insane if you think about how much of a fight they could normaly put up.
Phaithful Now I'm super stoked for the next season. Really tempted to read the manga but I've really enjoyed the anime experience. Will def start buying past publications and reading those in the meantime.
Well, i dont if this is a spoiler but for almost every shounen anime, there always a hint for how dark and gruesome an arc or story can get. For example, HxH give many hints about dark stuffs in beginning, Fullmetal have the chimera dog, the mom's resurrect scene. For MHA, the killing scene and Twice backstory already give a hint on how dark it can get so yea. They should have realize by now
One of my favourite moments is in 2X24 where Deku and Bakugo are against All Might. Where All might has them both down, with bakugo under foot, then bakugo has this moment of realisation... Bakugo: He's got overwhelming speed, with strength and stamina I can't hope to match. He's not just powerful... he is power! I realise that even more... now that I've faced him myself. This man is the most unstoppable force in the world!! He's the greatest hero on earth!!! This moment had so much depth, and solidified Bakugo as one of my favourite characters in My Hero Academia.

This is why I think everyone who gets one for all not only get a quirk power boost but also the physical strength boost like Deku and All Might. I mean what will it enhance really going through walls quicker
I think the only way to ever beat Mirio would be to just play an intense battle of Bloody Knuckles, the only way you could hit him would be to hit him the exact time he tries to hit you in the same part he makes solid.Also if he couldn't see he'd be severely gimped with using his quirk since he'd have a hard time knowing when to phase and when not to.
And now, Blindwave, you join us in the long, slow wait for season 4...in October. Also, this upcoming arc in season 4 will be the longest one yet...it took the creator a little over a year to finish, so the wait time between seasons 3 and 4 is to be expected. Finally, I can't wait to see you guys react to the movie...so hype!

We've only gotten to chapter 217 in the manga and Horikoshi last remarked that he'd cut it off around 400 chapters or so, meaning we're only halfway through in the manga
Mirio's wearing a generic UA P.E. uniform, which don't seem to be tailored to each student (other than for size or, I suppose, special anatomical cases like Shoji or Ojiro), so even if he could have a uniform that phased with him this one _probably_ still wouldn't (plus, then we wouldn't have shocked Jiro gags)... *[SEASON 4 SPOILERS BELOW]* He _does_ in fact have a proper hero uniform that phases with him (made from his own cells or hair, if I'm not mistaken... a technique also used by other heroes with similar needs... and which could _probably_ also be useful for Hagakure... but at this point she seems to be used to just going around naked except for gloves...), but it's probably too expensive and/or laborious to make to justify also making him a phasing P.E. uniform. Plus, _then we wouldn't have shocked Jiro gags._

Generally I feel like anything that is similar to Obitos Kamui from Naruto it will generally be absolutely op. Additonally, the manga clarifies that, when he says POWAH the first time, he actually took down the entire backline of class 1.A in about 5 seconds, which is absolutely insane if you think about how much of a fight they could normaly put up.

Well, i dont if this is a spoiler but for almost every shounen anime, there always a hint for how dark and gruesome an arc or story can get. For example, HxH give many hints about dark stuffs in beginning, Fullmetal have the chimera dog, the mom's resurrect scene. For MHA, the killing scene and Twice backstory already give a hint on how dark it can get so yea. They should have realize by now

One of my favourite moments is in 2X24 where Deku and Bakugo are against All Might. Where All might has them both down, with bakugo under foot, then bakugo has this moment of realisation...
Bakugo: He's got overwhelming speed, with strength and stamina I can't hope to match.

I think the only way to ever beat Mirio would be to just play an intense battle of Bloody Knuckles, the only way you could hit him would be to hit him the exact time he tries to hit you in the same part he makes solid.Also if he couldn't see he'd be severely gimped with using his quirk since he'd have a hard time knowing when to phase and when not to.

@Blsss Hastings nope, it was announced back in December. Since the arc they're adapting is so long, it's probably why they're taking their time and releasing it later than usual

@Blsss Hastings no, but there's definitely gonna be one. The series is far too popular for there not to be a season five. This anime will go for a while, trust me. We've only gotten to chapter 217 in the manga and Horikoshi last remarked that he'd cut it off around 400 chapters or so, meaning we're only halfway through in the manga

Mirio's wearing a generic UA P.E. uniform, which don't seem to be tailored to each student (other than for size or, I suppose, special anatomical cases like Shoji or Ojiro), so even if he could have a uniform that phased with him this one _probably_ still wouldn't (plus, then we wouldn't have shocked Jiro gags)...

He _does_ in fact have a proper hero uniform that phases with him (made from his own cells or hair, if I'm not mistaken... a technique also used by other heroes with similar needs... and which could _probably_ also be useful for Hagakure... but at this point she seems to be used to just going around naked except for gloves...), but it's probably too expensive and/or laborious to make to justify also making him a phasing P.E. uniform. Plus, _then we wouldn't have shocked Jiro gags._
Yeah I still think even though he'd lose, bakugo definitely would've had the best chance against mirio
