[ WELCOME BACK JOHN thy Living Guitar God (*bows profusely*) LONG LIVE THE RHCP!!!!! ] Now... (*right-click* LOOP) 🎸 Air Guitar ...& can die happy after seeing them in 2020 😋 HAPPY FESTIVUS to the REST'OF US!!! 🎉
What a gift it must've been each night for every person that worked on those tours/travelled with the band to hear new improvised shit out of John each night.
In my opinion, the very best outro of all time for Don’t Forget Me is Calgary Sept 16, 2006. For this one, Anthony uses the lyrics in the outro: “Sometimes a song about dying is the same song about just being alive.” To my knowledge, this is the only time he ever used those lyrics in the outro.
Every time I see a concert set list for the chili peppers I always say in my mind R.I.P to this song live cuz we'll never see this work of magic live again.
Fuck, I've never thought about it like that. My group and I are working towards playing it live but as the guitarist I admit I really lack the divine inspiration of John :-(
F-k hell I love this. The outros to this song live are like the best thing ever, I hate it when people say "oh its so emotional" but when you look at his face while he plays you cant help to think whats running through his minds. /emo mode of and nerd mode on. Thanks for the vid
He's left his body and became the guitar his mind I guess is a guitars mind, I love him, and he was a very big savant to the world a lot of people never saw, it was always flea in 90s, man what a mad genius he was
Robin Long your comment reminds me of the interview when fleas like “John, only we can hear the voices”. John has a co scripter of music, said it himself “for those every 2 seconds a note comes to your mind how does it get there? Someone’s speaking to me” johns a legend
That's very true dude,You make a great point lol. I don't think it any of that show was even filmed :-( Still you managed to include my other 2 favs Pinkpop and Rock in Rio :-D
Wondering if anyone could help me. The effect John's got turned on at 5:40 is his Moogerfooger right? Seeing as this is no longer in production and is ridiculously expensive now, what's a good alternative? Cheers.
The best one is missing, the outro from Live in Hyde Park is beautiful and clever. John uses the original main solo but in a much sadder and downtempo way.
Several from the sounds of it - Certainly a flanger and chorus with echoplex and maybe a tape delay rackmount in the back, not to mention the Big Muff or whatever he uses for the overdrive... Among other components, these are the most blatantly obvious to my ears, but I'm no expert on his effects so I could be deadass wrong on all of it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Same. Beautiful melody. I fell when i hear it
Absolutely . It lasts 2:30 minutes and is the most completed outro of that masterpiece
John frusciante is sick. I love the chili peppers and this song is amazing so mesmerising. Words can't describe.

bro, thanks for this present!!! great video, and i agree every single position
At slane... can't forget that damn guitar
Two of the world's best guitarists totally in tune with each other. But none is as thrilling as the La Cigale version.
Frusciante is on another level. He has an aura. He will forever be my GOAT.
Slane castle outro is the best
The best outro solo for me was Live at Slane Castle (2003, Ireland) ❤️❤️❤️
As good as they all are this needs Montreal 2006.
theclassicrock69 that's the best imo
Oh John, we miss you so much, thank you for your music.
Imperador Do Brasil Dom Pedro II, O Magnânimo HE’s BACK OMG

#4 chorzow, the way those 2 can flip flop between rhythm and lead is so damn cool to watch
Best outro always gonna be Montreal 2006 but noone has that concert full :(

For me the best outro was the rock in rio, chad would agree as you can see in the video. Soul piercing outro🤟🏼
This first solo I dedicated to someone who broke my heart because in reality this is how my music would play
Rock in Rio hits different
I also think this list miss Montréal 2006.

1.Slane castle
2.la cigale
3.Poland
Tiene muchos outros como para elegir sólo 10.
hyde park was great
Anyone knows which pedal is JF using in this outros?
Several from the sounds of it - Certainly a flanger and chorus with echoplex and maybe a tape delay rackmount in the back, not to mention the Big Muff or whatever he uses for the overdrive... Calgary 2006????? :'/
what efects he uses?
Mostly delay, chorus and a wah in some jams
What the hell happened in 5:26 - 5:58! fucking legends
El que dio en calagary en el 2006 fue el mejor
Tab that!
Chorus, delay and wah ( I guess)
with booster
no the greatest outro of all time (technicality and theory) is Quebec 2006.
calgary is number 1
01/13/2021
La ciagle 2006 = 6min
slane castle ....
La canción es freudiana
what is an "outro"??
An "outro" is the final segment in a song that is often expanded when played live. In the studio version of this song, there is an "outro," but it is much shorter and does not involve additional guitar. This video is a compilation of various outros from the live performances of "Don't Forget Me."
