in Sweden, there is a long music competition before the Eurovision Song Contest. Eight new entries every week for five weeks compete against each other, the Swedish people vote for their favorite entries, two go directly to the final in the sixth week and two extra entries that went to "Second Chance" compete in the grand final Melodifestivalen. There, the Swedish people vote again as well as a foreign jury from six countries. the entry with the most points wins and then gets to compete in the Eurovision song contest. So that’s why Loreen competed twice, she won the competition.
A Finnish band called Lordi won the Eurovision 2006 with a song named ”Hard Rock Hallelujah” that song and performance was crazy. 😅
Lordi were the opening act in Sabaton's tour of Europe last year. They were brilliant, and Hard Rock Hallelujah is such fun to sing along to.
No matter what kind of week/day you're having Tommy's covers swoop in and make you feel 1000% better! 😍

I've heard him sing this before a long time ago... someone put his version overlaid with Loreen's as well (like a "duet") and it was mind-blowing.
Now hearing him with his updated version didn't disappoint; expected each of those high notes in that 2nd verse and chorus.

This is on his album swedish hitz goes metal there are 2 albums and they are pretty old. But appreciate the updated version from Tommy. You should react to does your mother know though there is no video it's only audio but amazing none the less

In fact it's the song that's competes not the artist, all singsong writers makes a lot of songs and send in to a preselection jury, then the songwriters try to find an artist that's fit's for the song, or in some rare cases the artist made the song them self.

Way too good. I've listened to 5 entries so far, and the Norwegian one is my favourite at the moment.
Vocally I prefer his slightly lower register version

However I haven't seen his dance moves
Loreen in this song had some weird moves
(I think she did her own choreography)

Your such a nerd 🤣. Loreen is from my home town in Sweden, and we are damn proved of her. She sings lika nobodys business an She’s a good woman to🙂💕.
In Eurovision, there must be no politics, only music. If something were to come with a political song, they would be disqualified.
So no politics as you claim.
There are a lot of votes that go between neighbouring countries though. You could argue that the judging is political, or do they simply play the neighbouring country's song so often on the radio, that it becomes a familiar and likeable song, ahead of the competition?

Now Tommy is the one reason that could get me watching melodifestivalen/eurovision again.
Nowadays its so terribly bad on melodifestivalen here in sweden, its to embarrasing to watch.. its not about the music or talent anymore at all its just a parody of how it used to be and i just cant watch.
