For me I love to see hair care recommendations. Korean hair care products really changed my hair…now American products are catching up but I still love K-Beauty ones!! Things I’m personally not into: anything disposable, like masks and toner pads (too wasteful), anything exploiting animals (so, no sponge needles which kills animals, no salmon sperm which is just unnecessary and almost certainly harms them, no snail products…just no unnecessary exploitation of animals for things we already have alternatives for).

Islam strongly recommends that it is even obligatory to use products starting from those that enter the body or they do not have to be free from unclean or haram ingredients such as pork. However, if you still want to use skincare or makeup products from Korea or other non-Muslim countries, I suggest choosing vegan ones. But keep in mind that even though vegan products are free from animal ingredients and cruelty, they are not automatically halal. In Islam, it’s not only pork that is prohibited; there are many other ingredients in skincare or makeup that are also forbidden, beyond just pork. This shows how important it is to know the ingredients contained in a product before purchasing it, rather than just buying it blindly.

Recently I've realised I can't go back to many of my favourites as they all have changed formula and are not the same any more. For example Dr Jart's Ceramidin Cream has been once again reformulated (I loved the one when it was actually still a Korean brand not under Estee Lauder if I'm not mistaken). Other brands like Klairs reduce scent factor from their formulas and call me crazy but I do think it changes how it works on my skin. Nothing is the same anymore. Do you know some old time best products that are still the same? Please 😢.
Mediheal Madecassoside pads broke me out so bad! I kept using it thinking that it’s something else not this UNTIL I read several reviews on it from ppl saying they experienced bad breakouts from using this!
for Mediheal retinol it's works for me, since I have sensitive skin, retinol serum will break/ flare my skin. But this toner pad retinol dosage works perfectly for me.

Actually Innisfree are the OG hydro gel masks. I dont see them make it anymore, but i was using them for over 10 years, and they were great, especially the 9 mushrooms one.

I think it does LOOK similar but Heveblue's def feeling a bit more thicker concentrated and VT's feel much lighter!!! and effects are similar too focusing on rejuvenation ~ BUT Heveblue's main ingredient is PDRN (salmon sperm)/non-vegan and VT's is from glucamune which is vegan formula and gentle enough for whole family to use as well

If it makes you feel better, I'm allergic to soy and found many hair/scalp care tonics to have some form of soy derivatives in them that I can't use 😭 It's a great ingredient for strengthening hair follicles so really upset I can't benefit from it because it causes hives and MORE hair loss for me 🥲
I want to try the parnell foundation so bad but they only have 3 shades 😭 I really like the gel cream, the cotton clearing pads and body mist but I never see anyone talking about the brand.
