    Super clean Install and a quality finish, especially on a hobie where space is everything. Just don't crunch it at the poles 😝 well done lads 👏

    Sick set up bro. It's nice to have a boat. But having a pa14 is already a boat that basically don't need gas!. And can go in circles haha

    Finally the video I was afrer. 2 questions, 1-does it interfere with side scan transducer under the kayak?
    2-what is that pole you are using?
    Thanks loads :)

    • @PaulMalovFishing
      @PaulMalovFishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Sam, no interference with the side scan as you’re running AT on full screen not split screen - and from a physical perspective of the pole/bottom of the yak, no issues there either.
      The pole is from Gfab Engineering in Melbourne, Vic, Australia. Chris makes a very high quality product

    How did you like the AT box mounted to the inside of the bucket? Did you leave it there or switch it over to a mounting plate on the sail mast after a while? I like the idea of mounting it to the bucket but have a plate on order.

      Hey mate. Sorry for the late reply. Still have mine mounted in the tub in the front hatch and no issues.

    Nice work, is it easily removable to put on the boat, or do you need a second one?

    • @PaulMalovFishing
      @PaulMalovFishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks mate! I’ve chosen to keep them attached on the kayak and one dedicated one for the boat as the pins and module are quite fine and fiddly and if you unplug/plug back in you risk damaging them.

    Hi mate , can I ask what battery you used for running the live scope ? and would it have to be a separate battery to the sounds ? Any info would be great appreciated 👍

    • @PaulMalovFishing
      @PaulMalovFishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi mate, just running a 50AH FPV-Power lithium for both the head unit and the AT on the yak.
      Running a 75aH of the same for the AT and Live16 on the boat up the front

    By plugging the live scope into existing display unit, do you lose the original transducer or do you swap out cables or have both plugged into it and change the transducer type?

    • @PaulMalovFishing
      @PaulMalovFishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey there! You can have both plugged in and just select from the Home Screen what you’d like to view, no need to unplug anything! It’s all coming in via the Ethernet cable from the AT module into the Elite FS unit.

      Hey James. I think there’s a small element of it on most live units that’s I’ve seen, not just this brand, you getting good clean power to the module box? Is it being shared with many other devices/systems on the boat?

    Hi Guys. Awesome setup. How do you turn the active target off while not using it on the water? Do you run the power through a manual in~line switch?

    • @PaulMalovFishing
      @PaulMalovFishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Ian, thanks mate! We didn’t end up doing that on the kayak but on the boat, we do have an in line switch for the module box at the console.
      On the kayak, I hit stop sonar on the AT screen when the transducer is out of the water.

      Haven’t had an issue where it’s gone flat yet, from memory at least 9-10hrs at full brightness for a HDS9 Live and active target both running off the 50
