Nice Work! Here in Michigan the Dock & Hoist guys work nearly all year putting the docks and hoists in for the spring, fixing adding etc. during the summer, just to remove them all out in the fall and prepare for spring again! It's like a never ending money pit living on the lake lol :)
Nice dock but I learned the hard way never to sit pressure treated in dirt. After 5-6 years, we lost an outdoor platform like that to rot. From now on I'm using material that won't rot. Tight lines!
Enter cities building docks at tax payer expense, free utopian projects free access, serving them, but who pays the lake docks fee to use, fee to row across the lake thats b.s. premitive is good.

The dude building the dock looks exactly like what I pictured a guy who builds docks in Florida would look like.
Haha so true!
Looks great Jamison! This was a fun project, thanks using Simpson Strong Tie for all of your connections!
It was fun! It was great meeting you too
Fantastic dock build! I can't even imagine what that must have cost! Enjoy, there is nothing like being on the water! Kudos to all of you! 👍👍😉😉
Thank you!
barefoot in paradise...no OSHA reps anywhere in sight? Love it.
The best!

Yea this was a thing some time ago. Not sure when it changed but all treated wood is ground contact now so it’s treated for that
Dude was straight up bare foot!
😂 🫣 yes he was
I'm surprised all the neighbors we're there checking everything out. New business opportunity
Haha, Oh they were
@@rogueengineer I live on a lake and built my own floating dock and when I finished all the neighbors had to check it out
My buddy from Pensacola..
Good guy right there
Any settling now? Looks good when new.
Redbeard... Grant
Bare foot chain sawing. There is something you don’t see every day
Haha, only in Florida.
