    Thank you! I was stuck doing these kind of problems for hours until I saw this^^ It was very clearly explained.

    Thank you very much. I had been struggling with this concept for a long time and couldn't find any videos that clearly described it until I came across yours; it's been extremely useful!

    I love you, thanks so much for this. I never really understood how to choose X_p until I watched this.

    I couldn't get one thing. How did you find out a1 & b1 value of the particular solution? You didn't show the process. Please help me out.

    Great example. Thanks!

    also in the last example (unsolved), if the general solution already has that form e^5t, we will have to multiply every term of our proposed particular solution by t, I think.

    @mrgonzalezWHS But the thing I dont understand: base on the book advanced "engineering mathematics"sixth edition on the page 615-chapter 10-4 for this part it says if we have for example [-2e^(-t)+1 and e^(-t)-5t+7 ] the Xp will be=(a3,b3)e^(-t)+(a2,b2)t+(a1,b1) this part I understand but it says if we had instead of e^(2t) instead of e^(-t) then Xp would be =(a4,b4)te^(2t)+(a3.b3)te^(2t)+(a2.b2)t+(a1,b1). But why is that!? I dont get it.at the end of this video for your ex of e^5t says something els!?

      Is that depends on our Xc and overlaps?

    what about phase diagrams of these systems?

    why did you set ( a1 b1)= (0 0 )

    • @gabrielaportillo299
      @gabrielaportillo299 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      because when you take the derivative of the chosen particular matrix, you get a matrix of (0 0)

    I am studying "advanced engineering mathematic" for the exam and it was 4 hours confused and I was trying to find out what the (A)(Xp)+F(t) should be equal to? and then I remembered on youtube I might have chance to find out the answer, then your video pops up,I watched it and I learnt that should be equal to derivative of Xp. Thank you for your very helpfull video. God Bless you guys
