Chris you have the ultimately weed Wacker. Sitting in a air condition cab with the radio on. Not worried about any wasp nests or snakes.
This is how a expert excavator operator cleans up the yard.
    Money well spent.

If you Swap the hoses from the mulching machine with the hoses from the thumb.
You will have more flow on the mulching machine without the too small knee couplings. The mulching machine will be more powerful and run at maximum speed quickly.
The thumb will continue to function the same as before

Cool machine for clearing out brush, vines and small trees. Follow up with some annual spraying should keep the openings pretty clean, I'd think.
Would be finding a lot of solid rock and boulders doing that clearing here in WI.

I do stone work...patios..old farm walls (is what we normally ally specialize in) that kinda stuff...we come in and clean all the overgrown mess out make it nice build and or rebuild...stumps overgrowth that kinda nonsense...point being we get in there on litteral hands and knees ripping all the junk out so when we pack up or crap and leave you have a beautiful stone wall for all to admire.....when all is said and done say 2_3 years down the road many (if not most) people do not keep up with maintenance they just let nature have its way yet again..poisonivy grows back all the weeds sprout up again just a waste of money on their part honestly....to see someone like Chris take a nice piece of land and take the time to actually maintain it even after working long hot days gives me a sense of pride to know there are a few people out there who actually care enough to keep nice things nice. Much respect sir much respect.

People will always tell ya what ya need but its not always what ya want.
I'm not sure in which order these videos were taped first but yesterdays video of this mulcher in action cleaning up along a hi-way speaks for itself. Looks like Chris picked the perfect tool for the job application, besides that.., I'm pretty sure there aren't too many skid steers with brush hogs out there that could jump a fence and prune tree limbs 16 feet into the air.

I've seen so many properties cleared for new houses and the owners of the new houses just let everything except for where they the house and what little bit they want to mow grow back up into a wild Force I think it looks like crap and a waste of money if you going to clear that much land I think you should keep it cleaned up and looking nice good job

Chris with the strawberry and the mulcher has you the practicality all the embrio plant and root growths to remove without the great tree roots to hurt. And this is very good. Stinging nettle, blackberry wild roses and woodclematis is little to hold. For the dam clearing is it fixed good. I think you have a great gladness. Thank to this video is best documentary.

I think the attachment does good. It’s a little slow/underpowered but everything has limits and it’s still totally useable. It’s not a replacement for the skid steer, but an addition to it.

A fellow farmer had one on a 10 ton Cat, used it cut around field borders. Heck of a lot easier than a tractor and loader or a pole saw.
One thing that amazes me when Chris is cleaning or clearing woods, is the absence of Chinese privets. Woods, fence and tree lines are full of them here in Alabama.

On the cab of a semi they have a spring assembly to hold the airlines of the catwalk maybe you could adapt one of those springs for holding up your hydraulic lines to keep them from snagging up and possibly getting ripped off. Also the spring would still give the ability to stretch and still get the reach you need without having to shorten up the lines.

Sounds like the mini has a hard time keeping that mulching unit supplied. Unit is constantly drawn down in speed as it is cutting. Hoses maybe a little small and could also be the size of the connectors. They add a lot of restriction to the system. When it is wound up, it cuts like no ones business. I bet if you put a test head on the connection in place of the unit itself, all else as it is, you will find you don't have near enough pressure or flow. Using the excavator is the ticket with that unit. Thanks for sharing.

Talking bucket scoops to fill the truck, Bucket size, swings of the cab, trips with the haul truck etc. You do get an amazing amount done!
