I remember when that white strip was barely visible. I hope our efforts are enough to turn things around. I would love to see a day when the Colorado flows once again, all the way to the Gulf of California.

The Colorado rarely flowed to the Gulf of Mexico. Historically, that only happened in very heavy run-off years, about once every 10-15 years at best.

So a college professor was able to give his knowledge. Thanks for all the great insights on what happens if Reservoirs hit dead pool. How could the world go around without theses " experts professor's " what a scary place it would be without there knowledge that every 5 year old could tell you.

Shouldn't everyone be conservative of water usage no matter what state you live in. The water rights laws are so terribly outdated. Many are over 100's years old, the population increase from 1970 is 200 percent increase every year in Arizona , Nevada, but more people needing the water to survive don't cut california until it's to late. Maybe it's time to discuss everyone save water and not wait until it's to late

How do you know water isn't being saved in cities and by municipalities?
