The title should read, "math teacher falls in love with former student four years after he graduates, actively pursues her and saves her career and reputation." 90% of the movie focuses on the corruption of the school system. It's not a grooming story.

The story is not focused on the romance and 90% takes place after the "student" graduates and becomes a teacher himself. The teacher has no romantic feelings for the student when he is young and is reluctant even after he is older.
It will be hard to have human teachers in front of the class, if for every student since kindergarten falling in love with their teacher, made that teacher be blamed for grooming. The ML student falls for her, she tries (tho in a persistent and invasive manner, which I AM concerned about) to help him overcome his fears and be an excellent math student winning prices and broaden his horizons. Never is she returning his feelings, even rejects him politely and she is ready to marry her older boyfriend/fiancé. It is totally beyond me that a photo of her and the student, not screwing or kissing or hugging or dancing or hitting each other, merely sitting next to each other, while one is sleeping, is enough to bomb her wedding and her career. 🤦♀️ No wonder she hates the student (did he send the photo out of revenge? (No, he did not)) for ruining her life!
