I do know that some of their songs were on American TV shows, especially the hits, but apart from that, I think they were really mainly more well known over here. I'm lucky that I have a mum that loves Keane and listened to them all the time so I grew up on their music. I still listen to them to this day

Keane are just brilliant, I remember going to see them in 2005 in Hyde Park London and they were supported by an unknown James blunt who just released his debut album.
Was a good year for them, saw them at Glasto (Year of the Mudbath) and their "secret tent gig" there as well, only time I ever caught wind of something and got in.
Keane have recorded some lovely songs, Bed Shaped and Somewhere Only We Know, from the first album, Under the Iron Sea is a great album, Crystal Ball, Is it any Wonder, and the wonderful Nothing in my Way.

One of my all time favourite bands! Their Hopes & Fears album is just brilliant from start to finish! My personal favourite song from it is the song "Bend & Break" - it resonates with me on a deep personal level after a close family member passed away. Beautiful sound, deep lyrics and a smooth transition throughout their songs! Awesome!
Was lucky enough to catch these guys in australia like 15 years back. One of those bands a mate dragged me along to(i knew this song but wouldnt have gone if i wasnt dragged there) Besides The Flaming Lips they are the band that took me by suprise with their live peformances

i dedicated this song to my sister. she was addicted to drugs and had schizophrenia, she died at 45, God had heard her because she always said I don't want to live anymore. thank god she died peacefully in her sleep, for that i am very grateful. I miss her a lot
