I wish MacG had done more to prepare. Brenda Ngxoli is a great guest and had he researched, he'd have gotten more because she's open.
And the chemistry was a bit off, it's like they were expecting it to be like a hang and her approach was different. I found it frustrating the amount of xhosa references they missed.
Nah, it’s not them, Mac has a free flowing style to interviews and they do just fine, she was off for her own reasons.

Podcast style is generally not an “interview” but a platform for her to tell her story the questions are just a bit of a guideline. At the beginning of the interview i think she was being a bit too much. In the later parts she got the hang of it.

A painful lesson I have learned is that your family only loves you when you can provide for them... the minute you can no longer provide for them, then you are nothing. Mna my mother stopped talking to me when I could no longer provide for them. After spending all my life working for them. But ke... blessings will always come back and multiply 😢

Exactly, when you use to do so much for them,they don't treat you the same when you don't provide as you used to. Worse for her,she is popular,and she is on TV.They don't even understand that actors are paid according to their gigs.If it's dry,they are not paid.While they still need to pay their rent food,cars,etc. Worse when people have kids or a kid. Families can be very toxic.
Thokukuthi other siblings are not working but busy making kids.But the parents love them more than a person who provide for them. When you don't give them.money,they turn their back on you ,sometimes.
