We live near falaknumah Palace...and whenever we pass-out from there I'd always want to go inside. It is the most splendid beautiful and captivating Palace. Proud to b a hyderabadi. ❤

It's a shame that this magnificent palace is not available for public to visit any day of the week like the museum, the zoo and the fort. In stead, it has been handed over to Taj Hotel who have turned it into a money making machine. If you and I want to visit the place, we'll have have to pay up from Rs2000 to Rs3000 per head for a limited "tour" of the palace, and it is only on Saturdays and Sundays. There are (or were) so many artifacts and precious collection of luxury items. One would only wonder about the trusted custody and accountability. My first visit to Salar Jung museum was back in early 80's. The display items now are not even 30% of what they had back then. This magnificent palace is in the hands of a hotel. Knock yourself out with imagination!
I request national geographic channel and narrator and her team to make more programmes on various asif jahi and qutub shahi monuments and tourist destination of city of Hyderabad.

dont speak rubbish without checking facts. the 6th and 7th Nizams were the people who constructed palace like general hospitals for the people for hyderabad, university, colleges, airpot, railways are to name a few.
