I think this scene will most likely have the conversation pre recorded with sound design that creates the effect of someone in the room speaking to Adam Drivers character. It may not work as well at home as it should in a movie theater but the film is apparently meant to be seen on the big screen so…

This movie *COULD* be revolutionary, if they decide to ever take it to theatres, they could put this movie in 1-2 theatres across each state/province, and have castings for local actors who have a decent resume doing plays/stage productions, it *COULD* work if given the right amount of love, im surprised A24 hasn’t jumped at the thought of this given how experimental they are as a studio, it gives the viewer a similar but different experience everytime they watch it depending on the person performing the in person role, and it also helps build up and coming actors resumes and help them get the jump into acting for big production films
They could also have a VA voice the role of the interviewer and have an actor pantomime the lines and body movements, that way they can keep a more consistent viewing experience, either way it helps boost somebody’s resume while also breaking the code of modern cinema

Everything is digital today. Everything available on demand whenever you want it without human interraction.
Here's a piece of art that took someone 40 years to create that requires ONE performer, and its breaking peoples minds despite theathre and live orchestras being a thing for hundreds of years.
This movie rocks. Id love to read the lines when watching this movie with my friends and family.

Maybe they can choose a random viewer in the theater to do the 4th wall break to have a chance to participate in the movie instead of having to get peolpe that work at the theater to do it for multiple screenings.

This reminds me of the terry gilliam film brazil which is very devisive and is probably one of the weirdest movies ive ever seen and if you never heard of it look up the trailer for it. The story is about man being wanted in this noir world and he chasing after this girl because he seen her in his dreams but watch the trailer first if this sounds interesting to you.

I think it might be just a way to get the movie advertised as it’s already out of pocket money.
And you know early screeners will take video of it. So what is the best idea,
Make a section of the movie that can easily be ADR and then have someone in the screening talk to the screen. That’s a good way to have people want to see what the movie is about. And if that is FFCs vision, then the studio would just say to ADR the section if they can’t get any actor, which helps with cost as no theater is going to want to make someone sit in the theater to act with the movie. Common sense is the just add the spoken lines to the movie.
