I just got into the resin craft, trying to learn about, when this thumb nil caught my eye, I’m glad I did, because this piece I found stunning. It reminded me of the astronomy Eye of god picture.
It’s beautiful. With the mica powder, and I have no art, painting, resin background, but the whole bloom shifts some, but not like with the one where you start with the “white” bloom resin mix. So, I was wondering if it would make a difference to put the gold mica layer down first, or after the first color goes down? Or, I would be interested to see what the bloom looked like if you added that same gold mica powder in the white resin?
Thank you. There is definitely more experimenting to be done. I am no way an expert when it comes to resin and I’m always just trying to do something different with these pours. Trying to do some elements differently to see if it makes a difference and hopefully we can all get new ideas out of it. ☺️
