  • Aquaculture Magazine interviewed Sylvia Wulf, CEO of AquaBounty, last week at Seafood Expo North America/Seafood Processing North America 2023 in Boston. Sylvia Wulf told us about the competitive pricing strategy Aquabounty is pursuing in the salmon market in the United States and the growth she expects to see from AquaBounty's new farm in Ohio, designed to produce 10,000 tons of salmon per year, which they are working on the construction of the first site, which includes the incubation areas, the nursery and the early rearing phase, whose designs are ready and whose construction could begin in the middle of this summer. She talked about the controversies that could be had among consumers who are likely misinformed about the biotechnology used in AquaBounty's FDA-approved GMO salmon. And she remembered to mention that all of the salmon produced on AquaBounty's current farm in Indiana, which has 1,200 tons per year, is entirely sold as it is harvested.

She states that everything they output will be sold in indiana, but if you google down the rabbit hole, I've seen one fish supplier ready to buy their fish

An investment in Aquabounty is a dead investment for a long time.

Why isn't anyone from Aquabounty arguing this position???
This is a horribly mismanaged company. When will they declare bankruptcy??? Sylvia, Investor's want to know???
