I'm having this same issue with my 2000 camry. Lights on, radio on, blower blows but car won't start. Sometimes it acts like it's Going to start then it stops. New battery.
I had the same problem as described in the video. I would drive for awhile and then the car would not start after I shut it off. It would start sometimes after I let the car alone for awhile, but eventually it would not start. The video describes a clicking sound. For me, the clicking sound was very faint and I had to mess with the key in the ignition and turn it to see if I could hear any click at all. I could definitely hear a sound, but it was more like an "air" kind of sound. I checked the starter relay in the fuse box area and when I had some help I had them turn the key with my finger on the relay. I could hear and feel it clicking and then also a slight buzzing noise coming from the starter. I determined it was the starter after that. I pulled the starter out and took it to AutoZone for testing and they said it was bad. I replaced it and it worked. I'm a do it yourself guy when I feel I can tackle the job. It's very easy to replace the starter. My car was a Toyota Camry 2002 LE. Just search a video on how to replace the starter and you will see that it is not a difficult task. You basically need a 10mm and 14mm to do the job, and a 12mm or 13mm to remove a nut on the starter. You have to remove the bottom shroud of the air filter to get access to the starter. When I did this there was some cables attached to the shroud on the back so I didn't remove them because I didn't want to break the little thingy that held the cables onto the shroud. But I was able to access the starter even so. Thanks for the video.
I'm having the same problem. The battery is new. I figured it's the starter. It's never been changed. I took it to a Toyota dealer and they said there's nothing wrong maybe the battery is dying because I don't drive it enough. This morning I had the same problem, turned the key it didn't start. Turned it a second time and it started. I'm frustrated.
@@kathyvaughn5546 have you found the problem? I'm having same issue Brett mentioned. Mine won't start after a short drive but does start after I leave it for a while.
@@mikec7373 No not really. The Toyota dealer seems to think I don't drive it enough and the baterry is draining. I don't think that is the problem because it will eventually start without being jumped.🤷🏽♀️
@@kathyvaughn5546 I'm convinced it's not the battery. I tried jump starting it for 20 mins at night and it wouldn't start. Then In the morning it fired right up normally. Have you had the starter replaced?
i dont hear a click at all, i only hear fuel pump working, checked 5A and 30A fuse they are fine, might be relay but i tried shorting contacts, i hear click on a 2nd relay but no start, Dont know solution yet

I've heard from a shop and others to avoid getting the starters and alternators from Auto Zone. They said Advanced starters and alternators gave them no issue. Also, Advanced gave me a lifetime warranty on a refurbished/rebuilt starter for my 2003 Camry.
My toyota echo... is the same....headlights are bright and I check the battery and it has 12.45 volts... the car is no start no crank....or NO click NOTHING.....
That's what they do before you fully turn the car on. Once the car cranks the lights turn off (assuming you dont have anything wrong with your vehicle)

Have you had the starter replaced?
@@mikec7373 Nope. I still have the original starter. My model is a 2000 Camry so I originally thought it must be the starter but they say it's not.
It turn out to be the wire to the starter for mines just had to push it back in
I have this same problem on my car. I replaced the starter about a year ago. I am going to replace the starter again and see if that works.
