Ultan doesn't make sense to pair with the fusion. He needs debuffs to smack, but the fusion increases resist so that you don't take debuffs. The synergy doesn't seem to fit.
This champion is amazing, because he makes this fusion amazing. How you may ask? (By removing any silly thoughts you might have had about going for the fusion; thus saving you a lot of resources.) Thanks for testing him out. 👍

I’d definitely use him to guard my vault. That seems like the best place to use him. If his a2 was aoe then it would be a dif story but a 4-5 turn cooldown on a single target nuke that requires a lot of setup… I’ll definitely pass on that.
His a2 and a3 are 3 and 4 turns cooldown after booking him... considering all the turn meters boost his a3 will give him, it's almost like an extra turn... that make 3 and 4 turns cooldown not that bad coooldown.
What about him in stoneskin 1 turn ? And gurtup a bit slower? 1) Ultan survive with stoneskin 2) Ultan AOE hits ennemies and sleep everyone (Oella is on the team, to decrease ennemy RES). 3) Gurtup place poison (doesn't work on stoneskin, so it should be slower) 4) Ultan receive turn meter boost before all ennemies wake up, he oneshot 1 ennemy and place strong shield on him I really feel I could have some fun from, that why I went for the tournament. But watching some video today, made me a bit depress ^^
He's exactly what you said Murder. He's a twist on the normal champions that some theorycrafters will have fun playing with for a minute. Is he really worth putting resources into on a veteran or developed acct? I can't even bring myself to spend silver on a new champ just to try them out. More diluting of the pool.
Also important, Increase Accuracy is not the same as ignoring res. Ignoring an enemies Res means you cut their res in half, really good against mythrala or high res champs. Increase Acc only increases what you put on your champ. It's a subtle difference but could make a big difference in landing debuffs.
the amount of players who will face content with high enough resistance to make a substantial difference between ignore res and increase accuracy are less than the amount of players who care about platinum arena. I could've done a better job explaining that you are right.
Is she much stronger then fenax? I feel fenax in this gear would smack similar numbers. my fenax without savage and a broken set hits 2 times for 160k~ish on his a1 and for 280~ish on his a3.. and the only setup he needs is a debuff for the conditional hit xD

Get them anyways. Since I started a long time ago I've had Ma'Shalled reworked, Candy reworked, Errol just got reworked etc. They were all vault lords once and now they're smashing everything. No reason to believe it couldn't happen to these two.
4 turn cd is bad for that. Muckstalker is a lot better for control. It's also way better to block debuffs if you can than increase res. Less stat requirement and no 3% chance. The boss doesn't strip you so block debuffs is just better.

Wth i just pulled him. I came to watch him before deciding what to do and your ultan on the test server is sylvan. Mine on the full server is dark elf.
at the end of the day, he feels like Ailil.., like he's not finished completely, something is missing (in his case, he shouldn't need accuracy.., in Ailil's case, Ailil's A2 should hit harder)
For me she alone is A tier because of the A3 into the A2 combo making her keeping the increase resistance on a 100% uptime. Regardless of her A1 landing or not. Her kit looks nice...
Oella is better than I expected (wish in her kit was also acc buff or something extra), she has good progression synergy with that new rare. Ultan on other hand is pure disapointment. He is similar to hexia (with his a2), they have good dmg output yet extremely hard to use. For most people he is vault tier champ (not worth booking). If only he had aoe max hp skill, with his passive he would be top tier for pve.
The problem is that his partner play against him. If you're going to use him in arena, his partner increases resistence, which you make you maybe not be debuffed. Also you won't wanna be debuffed cauze he could be CCed and do not be able to cleans himself and hit. Is you're going to ha e him with a support that will protect him, 100% he will receive a block debuff. So i can't see he beeing used in arena or some contents. Maybe specifical teams. I prefer much more the fusion with increases turn meter and resistence. That is a sick ability. Put on her you fastest gear in a tank team with dutches, phyteon and a nice nuker. It will be very hard to control.
maybe run him very low hp in Hydra so decay targets him with decrease heal debuff all the time then he cleanses and heals anyway but unless they add a head you can sleep... might be a good sand devil comp in there somewhere too... having a hard hitting non-enemy max hp skill could be useful but the setup is rough. maybe test with 1-2 debuffs vs 4-6 and see how it scales?
true but the problem is he doesnt have any crazy debuffs to apply. Adding someone like yoshi to your team halves the accuracy check also but gives you more out of yoshi than adding oella. if he had a block passive debuff, block buffs, or removed buffs it would be much better partner bonus
5:17 there are 9 champions in the game with +50% INC ACC, only Lady Kimi and Stag Knight get significant use. So, it's NOT likely that you'll be running INC ACC.
Yoshi is the best increase accuracy champion in the game and is the most obtained one in the game since he was a fusion. It's more likely you'll be running increase accuracy than using 1 ignore res champion that is legendary and needs a mediocre fusion as its duo!
Well there's also the fact you can't just say it's "like" INC ACC so therefore it's the same. If you have 250 ACC and the opponent has 500 RES, a 50% increase accuracy brings you from 3% chance to land to 7% chance to land, whereas ignore 50% RES brings you from 3% chance to land to 92.54% chance to land. Also, since they're both different skills you can use them together and start landing debuffs on 500RES enemies with only 166 ACC, so that statement wasn't well thought out. (Still love all your content murder) This guy might be able to sleep Mithrala in arena with very little accuracy at that rate

I did the same with the RSL Helper Calc using 300 ACC vs 700 Res - which is 3% chance - if you bring Yoshi the increase ACC only gets you to 3.09% chance - basically nothing. bring fusion and you go to 300 Acc vs 350 Res which is 39.77% chance: not great but if instead you raise your ACC to 400 vs 700 Res bring Yoshi doesn't give you anything reliable going up to 11.2% (600 ACC vs 700 Res) but bring Oella and you are now 400 vs 350 and you are at 96.8% - Thus in most PVP high Res opponents the pairing will land his sleep better than most realistic cases --- true it won't matter either way for low Res opponents but that really isn't the point of bringing this pair.
My choice.... go for this questionable fusion... hope to pull ultan or get in guaranteed.... OR ... conserve resources to be able to handle the next double personal rewards event and get two lots of tier 6 bonuses in one month.... hmmmmm

By being an ignore rather than a buff he can ignore 50% res and gain from the accuracy buff so basically a double buff

at 15k base hp,its not like we can give him 100k hp anyway :))
