YEARS ago, the minister at our prstnt church went with his family to Nigeria. I believe now that he perhaps planted important seeds. AND NOW THE ORTHODOX PRIESTS AND MISSIONARIES ARE THERE.. HOW LOVELY. Had not expected to shed tears as i saw their joy, but i did.. and still am, as i type this.. For whatever reason the Lord gave me tears about this, i am grateful. Glory to God..☦☦☦

On the steps before the entrance, he taught me to put my three little fingers together in one, saying, this is the Father, the son, and the Holy Spirit. And I was holding it tight, just like the boy in the last seconds of this trailer video. Seeing the boy with his three fingers united in our Christian Orthodox way, somewhere far in Africa, touched my heart. (physically far from where I am right now, but close in Spirit) 🕊️ Love to Nigerian people and the priests who do not give up.
As a Nigerian living abroad struggling to become orthodox because of family, this strengthens me that i am not the only one. Truly, someday the people of Nigeria will find the truth just as we have.

It's just dishonest fake pastors and cult like practices which has nothing do with Christianity. Are you still in touch with her? Could you maybe tell her about how Orthodoxy and Ethiopia were among the first Christian nations in the world? You could also compare the theology to the Pentecostal world she lives in, emphasizing the fullness and deep truth found especially in the Eastern and Oriental Orthodox Churches, which was founded by Yeshua himself. TV pastors, Pentecostals, and charismatic Christianity are hurting the world and Africa. The people in these non-denominational congregations are genuinely searching for the truth but don't find an ounce of it, which is heartbreaking to see. No, they're not schismatic. They "walled themselves off," from the heresy of ecumenism. There have been tons of saints throughout the history of the Church who did the same, and weren't in communion with the "official churches". Saints like Saint John of San Francisco, Fr Seraphim Rose, Saint Nicholas Planas, and Saint Justin Popovic were with them, and they haven't changed since then. (Speaking specifically of the "GOC-K" who are featured in this video.)

If only they would come to Middle-Eastern Non-Chalcedonian Oriental Orthodox Christianity, it is more Patriarchal over the Girls and the Women than they are. That is one way in which the Eastern Chalcedonian Orthodox Church needs to improve upon itself in how it practices the faith.
