Mam you tell the numbering concept incorrect, Actually, In pyrimidines, numbering is clock wise and in purines,it is anticlockwise

it depends on which direction the nitrogens are drawn. we take the shortest path to reach the nitrogen in numbering. If you have seen clockwise in pyrimidine, the nitrogen must have been on the left side. if its drawn on the right side, the numbering will go anticlockwise, so there’s nothing wrong
