I think JK is more comfortable with Taes physical messing because he knows it’s just platonic so there’s no awkwardness. With Jimin because there’s that whole hidden layer of extra feelings and physical responses that they have to keep hidden it adds a weird dimension to when they get physical or close to one another. Jimin is naturally more expressive and physical while JK isn’t so his reactions come across as awkward because he doesn’t always know how to cover the attraction from other people. He’s a lot better at it now.
