White Lily Cookie is one of the most intriguing characters I’ve seen. It’s a shame the game’s jumbled lore didn’t give her enough justice, so why not we pretend we’re writers for CRK’s story?
Just a disclaimer I forgot to add: I am NOT trying to imply that my version of the story is more superior than the canon. In my opinion the story is pretty good as it is, this whole video is just eight and a half minutes of me overthinking a game about gingerbread men running hehe. If you disagree with some of my ideas that’s fine.
If you happen to be so inspired with what I came up with and want to use it in your fan content, I *don’t care*. Go for it! You’re free to use it as supplementary material if you wish. However, I would advise to give credit or mention it’s based on a headcanon of mine to prevent any kind of confusion. I may be generous but it’s still my work by the end of the day.

What
I have a theory: White Lily died before the DFW (dark flour war) When she fell the ultimate dough. She didnt died in the purple thing in the background, and yes bc the witches baked her alive in the oven. And in the war,like the world exploration, she was an fragment that escaped somehow.
It was her soul gem transforming in White Lily.
White Lily is coming in the next update,Tbh Devsisters should've taken some inspo from this vid bc IT'S JUST PURE PERFECTION AND WOULD MAKE EVERYTHING SO MUCH MORE UNDERSTANDABLE.

this was actually one of my interpretations for a long time!
Where she was basically split into two, a cookie of strength, and a cookie of knowledge, both lacking each other’s skill.
The main reason why Dark Enchantress didn’t return after the dark flour war is because being *the* cookie of strength and being somewhat defeated by those less powerful than her, sort of ruined her entire purpose as a being. See it as a life crisis if you will. However when White Lily, the cookie of knowledge part had stumbled into the moonstone in a vulnerable state, Dark Enchantress took advantage and sort of claimed her soul, which lead to her return as a whole.

so basically, when white lily fell into the ultimate dough, the dough covered her own, sort of like a shell, plus along with the mixes of salt and darkness that the witches were baking to try the taste (usually darker and more evil cookies are more bitter than the rest, so they dont bake that sort of dough anymore
oh and life powder had already been sprinkled in) had surrounded her, effectively trapping her physical self.
When the witches went to bake her, the darkness melted into her outer dough shell, while that semi-merged with her original dough.
Since the dough on the outside was being baked, it began to form a consciousness, one of evil, white lily was unaware of what was happening.
then dark enchantress woke up, breaking out of the oven with immense power and strength due to the added dough.
White lily was no longer in control of her physical self, dark enchantress was.
Oh and, to separate the two, you'd need to crack the dough with some sort of magic or a lot of strength. Basically peeling away the darkness as if it's an orange peel. This can be risky however, since if you aren't precise enough, you'll destroy both physical forms, along with the souls.
And then you have the long process of revival ahead if you wanted to.

It's also kinda weird that her story is a little too close to the story of Persephone which also fell to doom but here's the stupid part.

had a best friend which made most of their persona
fell into darkness
loved it and never tried to get out
best friend had to pull them out but the character refused and best friend used their friendship to mend it back
did not work out completely
changed name and looks to the point that many cannot realize until it's far too late and causes E M O T I O N A L D A M A G E
the 2 stories also seem to have a bond with pomegranates I think that Persephone and Kor is the same for Dark Enchantress and White lily.
BUT THEN AGAIN IT'S A THEORY A GAMEE THEORYYYY
one interesting thing ive discovered is that in one of the updates from Ovenbreak, a cookie named Lilybell was released. the thing is she looks almost identical to white lily, having the same red eyes and hair. if kingdom is kind of connected and or is an alternate universe to Ovenbreak does it mean that maybe white lily came from there? specifically from a village in the forest according as to where Lily bell lives? idk much about lily bells lore nor the update but i wonder if it will ever be revealed that theyre connected somehow.

Interesting, but for now, there’s still some mysteries to be discovered, and probably to be solved afterwards. Also, I don’t think the devsisters team will make it too child friendly, if you catch my drift, considering the game was presented for 12 year old kids and older kids in mind.
Oh and since I’m kind of new to this game, I was wondering, are all the witches evil or could there be some exceptions like one good witch in this bag of bad apples, secondly, could there be some wizards that are more « accepting » than others, just wanna know that’s all.
@@corentincursoux5852 oh! it's never addressed in the current lore as to whether there are "good" witches (in the sense that they didn't create cookies to eat them), but it most likely is the case? for example, because the ancients, or most of them, consider the witches as benevolent, it could be that the one that created them didn't intend to eat them. that, or we have a deep dive into cookienatomy, which is just... complicated. let's leave it at that. as to the wizards, i would consider the one that left stardust's dough alone as good enough because of the fact that the wizards are all about being precise and certain. stardust would've not existed if not for what they did, ig? just my thoughts.

dhdhfhdd i am screaming and crying on the inside why does this not have more views? i adore how you've made the convoluted lore of cookie run a bit more manageable w your headcanons. it's pretty creative too! like, spirit white lily? your presentation itself? it's lovely, and i hope to see more of your takes on the canon soon.
also, i agree a lot w the missed opportunity when it comes to the republic and st. pastry order. like, it raised sm questions and gave us so few answers about lots of things. nothing about pastry's origins, not even a crumb? nvm, i will headcanon that she's an orphan like financier and they were best friends or smth. DE's incursion also feel forced in a way, and final strike is an absolute hell of a stage for f2ps w/o level 12 scroll especially back when sherbet wasn't around. pastry herself could've and should've been the final boss though, but that would need to have context.

I have a theory also please note these arent 100% accurate so you know in ovenbreak relationship charts we get to learn that matcha and DE are familly but it wont make sense...considering how matcha is tea/nature related but dark enchantress is dark related well thanks to kingdom lore we get to learn that dark enchantress was actually white lily who fell into the ultimate dough becoming dark enchantress but you may ask how did yall that happen,in short terms:White lily went back to the oven because it was the night of the witch P.S:Night of the witches is held once in a thousand years
So in my conclusion....White lily is old..because of the souljam she wont die of old age nor any sorts of death getting soggy/crumbling etc... We learned it from dark cacao i think...dark enchantress then created an illusion (white lily) fun fact:Pure vanilla and clotted were the only ones who knew pure vanilla was naive and believed anything except any rumors about his girlfriend i-i-imean bestfriend i belive that the reason dark enchantress created the illusion is not to distract cookies or anything else it was to bring the heroes in because DE knew gingerbrave were going to meet the ancient heroes another thing is that dark enchantress also created white lily as an illusion to share powers and evenrything example dark enchantress strenght manipulation and white lily wisdom purifying i belive its because DE wanted to make sure that if her dough becomes looking back at the defeats she got terrible injuries..it was so when she dies she will be reimagined become white lily again...also do you remember lilybell we have seen all things considering how she is so similar to white lily they are both related since they come from the same flower,i belive white lily is weak because she gave some of her powers lilybell or either lilybell is secretly evil but i belive she is too pure lilybell is either trying to help or another or illusion DE could possess

White lily in my opinion: honestly, she’s pretty cool with her design if you ain’t familiar with a game about living cookies, but on the inside, she.. ain’t even alive. Honestly, I feel like devsisters aren’t okay, making the most tragic lore, for example, dark cacao cookie, he was *bleep* by his own child. Honestly, I feel bad for her.. she’s a fictional character(s), but.. i.. don’t know why I feel deep sorrow..

So guys I have a question, how long has it been since the Dark Flour war started? Clotted Cream Cookie says something about generations but if that’s so then Dark Choco Cookie and Royalberry Cookie look extremely young for their age. If anyone has an answer I would love to hear it!
I'm not sure, but I remember reading a tumblr post somewhere theorising that it's been about 100 years or so. Personally I headcanon that anyone who's the offspring of the Ancients is passed on its blessing of eternal life which may be the reason Dark Choco and Royalberry are still in "that" state, but the concept of time in the Cookie Run world tends to get real blurry so it's hard to figure out honestly ^^'

THEORY TIMEEE: I believe that white lily is a dragon( pitaya and the other oven break dragons are her siblings) even though abt the scene of white lily and pity I think Is like a legend but not really true (aka she is the runt of the litter but is the queen) she never reveal her secret to the ancients ANOTHER THEORY YAY: white lily din't fall into the dough and banged her head on the pot and found out the truth, the witches Challenge her to defeat challenging creatures if she beats all of them the witches will stop eating cookies for good (they will still make them) she ends up also getting her half her face scratched up MORE THEORY white lily is possibly the most powerful being in the cookie world she just hides it LAST THEORY dark entantress is not the villain in fact probably I white lily had an abusive ex I also think white lily can renew herself like a phoenix also about the dragon stuff she looks like her dress with lots of lights and is like a fulong dragon; she is also the largest dragon to exist. 💀💀我其實認為d社在劇情方面有點爛，首先上古應該要平均分配劇情吧，現在就是莓果可可香草都出了，但起司和百合呢?!百合可以說是例外，但d社完全強行把他們仨湊合的太緊了，其實共和國劇情我就覺得把起司忘了，就不能等起司來了再商討嗎，而且那個上古的傳承雕像裏剛好把起司和百合藏在後面了，d社想的有夠精密，其次，月光魔法城也是" 根 本 不 該 更 新 "，把夢，魔法師之城，星空，湊合在一起，能讓人弄清嗎?首先劇情上就很不清楚，為什麼要去找月光魔法師沒說清楚，衹是說了要借月光的力量打敗暗黑魔女，這個point是很不合理的，其次還出了新地區，這個是很不該的，上古就是該連在一起，為什麼這次月光例外?這個月光地區擺在那很突兀，衹是想把海妖精和月光魔法拿去賺錢吧😢(僅代表個人想法)
