@@Jay_ish well they technically can, imagine that you're on a keyboard any tap on out one letter but for some reason it's think your are holding down on it even though you aren't.
Now rethink that but you're playing a game with dpad. You tap on it once but it continuously goes on.

It’s always the left to go first, huh? Sad life. Went a good year before drift kicked in, and now I don’t like bringing my Switch out as much....
The part where Bowser breaks a joycon reminds me of my switch because the left joycon has the drift (luckily it isn't too bad)
But the biggest problem us that I got 2 pairs of joycons and my extra pair has drift on both and the drift there is the worst
My suposed blue joy-con because mine don't have colors is literally broken one part of the joy-con is left

And in the end, Mario fixed his joy cons, But there was a price. He had to remove the buttons which controls it.
But since one man named “beard bear” helped him along the way, he would play it for him and and eventually get out of the switch to get the tip of the flagpole..
