Tbh this movie only got bad reviews cause critics are terrible judges of what’s actually fun and entertaining. Video game films these days are getting better views than any multi million dollar production. The sonic series. The super Mario bros movie. Even FNAF

Movie is proof that visual effects like CGI and such aren’t bad or necessarily worse than practical effects, they’re just another tool. The animators and artists working on this film pulled some crazy good work on this, and in a world where actors and directors get most of the credit, it’s nice to see so many people in the comments praising the CGI. Honestly, the main reason people are mad about CGI nowadays is because they’ve been overworked by companies and aren’t unionized yet, so the few who are still working are doing so off of 2 hours of sleep…
I loved the credits as well. I remember watching this when It came out. I was only about 12 when it came out and I didn't really question the plot because I was so focused on the jokes and the video game scenes but even watching it more recently it is still a great movie
Imagine if there were more fight scenes in this movie. Give me ideas for what arcade games you think should’ve been featured in the movie as fully fledged fight scenes.
