Erica Jones If you have this type of afro hair, you know you need to use alot of conditioners and detangling else you will never be able to brush it all out
I will never understand how some people will click a video for a silk press or a wash and set on natural hair just to complain about the stylist using hot tools as if thats not what the client requested. Some of you hear heat damage one time and act like you never stepped in a salon and got the same style.

Pamela Lebron exactly i do hair and none of the clients i did a silk press on have heat damage, and this is a better way of getting a silk press look with LESS direct heat which for whatever reason some of these girls are not understanding. Its more about who’s doing your hair vs what is being done.
I_AmA BlackQueen I don't get what people are on about. Her hair looks very healthy and she may not even have it pressed often and just wanted to try something different. I'll admit, sometimes I get anxiety straightening my natural hair due to the thought of heat damage, but I quickly get over it knowing that I'm doing it right. Other people should have that same energy towards her. The hairstylist did a great job.

I do not see how yall could complain about this. She didn't do too many passes. It's the same amount as if she went through with the flat iron first, then went back to do the curls. The purpose of the rollers is to substitute using the blow dryer. The water wasn't draining as fast as yall wanted it, but she still made sure she rinsed her ends.
Yall are so aggravating with the complaining.

OMG - this video is exactly what I was looking for. Ive been blow drying my hair and then flat ironing it. I really want to get into roller sets again, my hair seems to feel better than when its blow dried. I also realized that I need to try to wash my hair with 2 different shampoos- sometimes my scalp still has buildup on it. Beautiful results! Keep the videos coming!

364/5 days in a year... some of ya haters need to get a life. She wanted a different hairstyle so what if it flat ironed. Some of ya wear wigs all day everyday, dye your hair etc etc then want to be like oh flat ironing hair is bad. Hair grows back she will be fine.

Our hair really is the frame of our whole body not just the face. What a beautiful result with gorgeous hair! Is a good thing she didn't cut it. It's the perfect length.
Having long & thick hair, I'd prefer my tech to do this same method. He puts me under the hood which results a larger than life thick fro. The n he combs out with hot blow dryer and then flat iron. Roller set would be easier & less damaging.

I have pin straight light brown hair and can’t relate to these at all, but it’s just so relaxing to watch. People with this type of hair are true hard workers lol it can’t be easy to manage that at all.

Donna Tembo I hope you don’t mind if I answer this question but I have the same rollers and use them on my relaxed hair soaking wet. I think it’s easier if the hair is very wet.
You want your hair to be soaking wet and spray water in section when rolling ur hair.
