Absolutely love how those turned out❣️ You are so creative Sandy! Thank you for sharing your great ideas… now I have to dig my old candles out of the garage… ❤
I love your candles. They really look like heavy metal. Excellent job! So pretty, candles in the window is about all I get up for decorations these days do the job and make me feel the season.
Sandy, the candles came out so nice! I was trying to think of a way some weight could be added underneath the base to keep the candle from tipping over so easy,
I also bought a candle from Dollar Tree and I will try to the same thing because of course I love your style...thanks for this video...just in time for me
Both of em all turned out beautiful and I love love love em!! 🥰🥰 I might try and do mine this way. Mine are different candles but it should work. God Bless y'all
I’m so glad you did these. I found quite a few of them n you mentioned you were going to do a video on making them look really good. I can’t wait to get started on mine. I thought yours. turned out so good. I like the idea with a little bit of the gold you used. I need to get myself motivated for Christmas n the candles will be a great start. ♥️♥️♥️🥰👍👍👍👍🌟
Shelly, They are easy to makeover and turn out so cute. Next time I will just give them a base coat of spray paint. I found two more that had 3 and 5 on the base. I will be sharing in a video tonight of my thrift haul.
Dang it Sandy, I was out thrifting yesterday and at one store they had a big box of those for 50cents each and I did not get any! Bet when I go back they'll all be gone. I really like how yours turned out. TFS
Hi Sandy, I got the stuff called slickstick by Dixie Belle and boy does that stuff work good and you can paint glass or anything and it they will stick right to it and not scratch off.
I was thinking of that when I was doing these but couldn't remember what it was called. I need to get some to keep for projects like this. Thanks for the reminder!
Sandy I have the best luck with rust oleum 2x spray primer for all my plastic and glass flips and so far I love it. It gives the paint something to stick to. Great projects as usual I look forward to seeing your videos
I had those dern things all taped up and was going to do just that. It would have been much faster if I had stuck to my plans. I liked the black the best after all.
Debbi here~ I wonder if the candlestick was sprayed with Pledge furniture polish sometime in a prior life. Pledge (or any furniture polish ) has a chemicals other than wax in it and liquids will bead up like your paint did. Maybe try wiping the candlestick with vinegar or other cleaner to remove the residue.
It was a little weird when one didn't have a problem at all. That just might have been it. I have now order slick stick by Dixie Bell for this type of problem.
PERFECT timing as I just grabbed 4 of these for $1 each at a junk sale
As soon as I get my Christmas down I’m going to grunge my candlesticks and dip my bulbs you’ve inspired me I think I can do it yours look so good 🤩
I love doing the dipped bulbs. I have them in all my night lights.
Absolutely love how those turned out❣️ You are so creative Sandy! Thank you for sharing your great ideas… now I have to dig my old candles out of the garage… ❤

You make the best silicone bulbs! I tried and I must have put way too much cinnamon
I hope they are still there. Easy project and turns out really cute.
@@tlcshandmadehayloft1448 I have learned not to put a lot of cinnamon in it. Makes it way too thick and they don't turn out as well.
Good to know Sandy. Thanks for the info.♥️🥰👍
They look great! ❤
Thank you Marchelle!
The candles look 100 percent better! Very festive too! 🤗
I thought they looked much better too!
I have a whole box of these I’m gonna do!
Years ago I had a lot of the long ones with 6 candles on it. I donated them back to the thrift store. Wished I had kept a couple of them.
Great job Sandy!!
Thank you Dora!
Love these!
Thank you Teresa! ❤

They turned out gorgeous! I’m trying to find my grams set of those in the garage. She had the sets of 3 and 6 big ones to do that with.
@@tlcshandmadehayloft1448 Years ago I had some of the larger sets too. I donated them back to the thrift store. Wished I had them now.
So cute! Trying to catch up on your videos. Its been a busy summer. Hope yall are doing well. Tfs
Thank you! Boy do I know busy summer. My fall has not slowed down either.
