These mamas kept us waiting ...but the ending wasn't as good as we hoped. | Vlog 705

  • Summer lambing is officially OVER!!
And with our final few stragglers, I wasn't expecting too many problems... oh, but I was wrong.
Two of our last five to lamb for some reason were super slow coming into their milk, which means more bottle feeding after just nicely getting our previous bottle lambs trained on the milk machine.
While we waited for the less than ideal end to lambing, we were busy with other sheep management chores...
We sorted and evaluated the next group of ewes to visit the boys in a couple weeks, and CIDR'ed them a couple days later.
Jess is still suffering with these chemo treatments, but once in a while, we can get glimpses on her smile and it pushes us all through.

#TH-cam please don't censor SandiBrocks videos. Find advertisers that match her values and brand messaging.
There are 1.1 million viewers who watch her content for exactly what it is; agricultural and animal husbandry. This is valable, educational content. It is also mutually beneficial to both the audience and the Brock family farm. I doubt there is anyone who will publicly disagree. Find Sandi Brock some advertisers who agree, please.

I can't state enough how I feel so honored that Jess would take us on her journey. So much can be learned by others who might be going through the same thing. They can see her bravely go through her chemo, even if she probably doesn't feel real heroic right now. I hope she knows how that will make them feel less alone, more capable, and less afraid because of her story. As I look through the comments, I see that many people write about their own cancer journeys in an effort to try to help Jess. It's truly heartwarming. Genuine love and concern brings out the best in people. Glad your lambing is over. It had to be the most strenuous, tiring, lambing ever. Get some sleep dear Sandi. Love to all of you.

      It's yt policy.
What is natural and wholesome has to move out of the way for violence and low morals.
      There's a bigger picture here.
The sexualization of children is also part of it just like undermining the nuclear family.
Know the end goal and you can connect the dots.
But this is not the right place to discuss all of this. I just want to say that this is not aimed at Sandi's channel specifically.

    • @nerowolfga8543

I know there some nut case animal "right" groups who do not wish any breeding of animals on farms or just holding animals "in jail" on farms., have it in for Sandi. They are also against anyone eating meat, using wool, eating honey, drinking milk etc. They are also completely against Sandi DARING to put non-productive animals on the truck because she "owns them SO much!' Every so often those people pop up with "You owe them a long life in retirement because they made the money that supports your family!"
And then there is the groups who feel Sandi's teaching vlogs, because they showed illness, injures, breeding, birth and sometimes death, are obscene and "unwholesome". Sandi fought long and hard to be able to show breeding but finally gave that up.
These different groups every so often seem to organize and report Sandi in large numbers for obscenity etc to get her demonetized.
She then has to put the work and time to present her case to TH-cam to get reinstated to earn money again.

Sandi, I have to admit...I'm finally having my 1st Cuppa for the day...2:35am at night..😮‍💨
Look, don't be too alarmed if Jess sleeps all day & night, her body needs to repair itself & there are alot of chemicals running through her, right now.😘
In the 1st 8 months of my chemotherapy & radiotherapy treatments, my partner only woke me when I had an appointment...🤗
The main thing is flushing her body, with plenty of water & even if she eats chips, fruit or whatever she can stomach...the object is to keep something in, I was living on mashed potato & boiled rice one week, boiled eggs & cheese one week, corn chips & cheese dips another week...it wasn't fun, I was told what I ate wasn't important.🥰
We've had most of our 23 Ewes lamb, mainly singles, with only 1 set of twins so far...out of the 13 lambs, we have about 4 Ewe lambs...it's a boy year.🐑
Give Jess a big hug from me & tell her she's doing great...🥹 Stay strong.💖

I've been away for 4 weeks off on jolly which is likely my last hurrah, but l went with my lovely daughter Daisy who looked after me, but l also impressed with my fitness as l walked a minimum of 6000 steps most days, 10,000 a couple of times and maxed out l think at 13,000-odd one day ... my feet are still tingling! I've missed you and the sheep and I am really sad to see that Jess is still really unwell. As much as l love my daughter l know you love yours! Devastating to witness!! 3 hospitals biopsied Walnut sized cancer and they were amazed by the fact that I was still living. 2 other people in Congress died within 6 months of being diagnosed!
