Palestinian flag raised at Leinster House as government officially recognise the state of Palestine

The government has officially recognised the state of Palestine. The Palestinian flag was raised at Leinster House as Cabinet officially approved the measure.
However, the Dáil heard calls for the government to go further and pursue sanctions against Israel over its continued campaign in Gaza in defiance of orders from the International Court of Justice.
