RETRO GAMING PICKUPS - Complete Gameboy Subset?

- A retro related tip-off from @rodgyretro made me head to The Retro Hunter (details below) to locate a Game Boy item I've been after for a while. I grabbed that as well as a few other goodies. Included in the video are also some ebay and Etsy pick-ups from the last few weeks.

Excellent game pickups Ed mate the accessories look great together and the camera + printer will be fun. The Konami collection looks a great compilation so will be keeping an eye out for that and a nice selection of figures great stuff 🙂👍
Hello Ed. Well done on the pickups, I didn't even know Gameboy had so many accessories, like a camera, printer, sonar... until AVGN released a video about Gameboy add-ons. In my area, we only knew about games 😁.

Nice pickups!! I've actually never had the GB camera or printer, but I need to pick them up before the price gets too high on them. And you got them CIB too which is awesome!

Cheers James - one of my all time favourites for sure :0). That's true albeit part of it glad they've left it untouched as it's pretty perfect as-is.
Konami is a great lil cart and although they're super common most platforms it's nice to have it for the DS. The lower screen often carries the arcade artwork and controls which is a nice touch.

Brilliant pickups there mate, used to live that TOCA Touring Cars GBC game, shame it wouldn't work on the Super Gameboy or I'd have bought that already.

Thanks buddy! Ah no way. I'll confess I've a SGB knocking around somewhere but must have only used it a handful of times. When my eyesight finally fails for handheld gaming I'll have to give it a shot haha.

Yeah Infinite Space was made by Platinum Games. Well now you have it maybe you should go for Platinum Games subset collection lol.
Oh Konami really have fallen from grace haven’t they. Which is a shame as they really were one of the greats. Having their logo on the cover meant that you were likely to have a good time. Some real classics on that set.

The Royal Guard has always been one of my favourite characters and indeed figures so it's nice to get a carded one. ROTJ were obviously slightly later releases and produced in vast numbers so they're def more affordable to pick up.

Unfortunately Revival clashes with Weezer / Smashing Pumpkins. Bands that I've genuinely wanted to see since back in the day otherwise I'd consider moving the tickets on and heading to Revival. Sounds like everyone is going to be there. I just hope there's a next one :0(.

That Clash of the Titans Perseus figure is my fav of your pickups this months buddy. The actor who played him voiced one of the characters in one of the God of War ps3 games - can’t remember which one. 😊
He voiced his character Percius in GOW 2...or it might of been 3. Can't quite remember now.
. Yeah you’re right God of War 2. He was an ass and deserved meeting the sharp end of Our boy Kratos blades. 😊

Nice odds 'n sods, DK on GBA 's one I need to put some time into myself, not sure why I've never really bothered with it when I couldn't put the original GB one down.
I've ordered a GT and it's being posted tomorrow, finally found one I liked the look of, despite the £500 price tag, but they've thrown in a years warranty should it have any issues, it's had the full cap' replacement job done recently to, so no stress or nervous breakdown heading my way with regard to having to do it myself.
Hey mate! Mario DK has evaded me for ages; it was only when recently going through my set that I realised I was missing it (along with a couple of those Mario advance titles).

The Konami collection looks really good. Do the Tate style games run well on the DS screens?
It's great value for money mate and nice with the dual screen. Most games have the controls displaying at the bottom like an arcade panel. Tate has larger black borders but not enough to distract from the gameplay; I default to the XL for most DS/3DS playing as eyesight is utter ball-hang haha.
Inlove the dick tracy figures... one day ill actually watch it.
Konami classics is a belter for the price. Time pilot is soo adictive.
Japanese packaging for the famicom mini os next level. Have you seen the special edition that has them all ❤

Mate, you need to see it!! I've just upgraded to a blu ray version so will have a spare dvd if you fancy it. Fab value the Konami one, taken me a while to pick it up.
I didn't know about the special edition!! I checked after and the other one I have is indeed pacman.
Dont think ive seen those dick tracey figures before ed buddy, they look cool.... not as cool as the red imperial guard though 😍 thats my 2nd fav star wars figure. Toca on the gameboy looks amazing ed 😃👊 i need to keep on eye out for that konami collection
Hey Steve! They're ace aren't they. Seen the odd one before but not on card. Oh mate, that ERG fig is super - always loved the figure (and character!). Worth grabbing Konami - about £20 but so many classics and moreover they play so well via the DS. Wishing you a super cool weekend :0)
I have the Dick Tracey film on DVD but haven't watched it yet, I have so many films on the shelf I still need to watch 😅 loving the GameBoy display, I still have a GB Printer refill box unopened from 30 years ago! Is Infinite Space worth a play? Haven't heard of it before.
Pls get it watched :0). Such a great film; beautiful cinematography. Wow that's cool about the refill box!!! Won't be many untouched ones about.
I've put about 5 hours into Infinite Space and it's really enjoyable; the plot hooks you in and the gameplay mechanic lends well to the touch screen. I can't remember who mentioned it to me but was likely via a YT vid.
