Hello, I just got this coffee machine but I've found that the coffee temperature is very below the expected. Could you please let me know if the espresso or long temperature is hot ? Thank you

I have a Hipresso and working with coffee beans it makes good espressos. But I want to use ground coffee and cannot get it to work like that.
I put the ground coffee in the little tube and only hot water comes out. can anyone tell me how to use ground coffee please?
