    Ryobi's new Chainsaw looks like a great tool, and the Jawhorse is a definite game changer. Thanks for the review.

      It is how old men will saw wood until anti-grav logs are a thing.

    It looked like they really took feedback and made this a much better model. You made short work of all cuts this thing seems very impressive. Nice Review!

      The electric saws are really nice for small diameter logs. Low noise, easy operation, and no engine maintenance or exhaust stink.

    Nice saw, and handy. i sort of got sidetracked for a bit and went looking for videos of Harley powered chainsaws but i made it back. Thank you for the review, Fernbark. Stay safe and stay warm

      I don't have the arms for one of those. I will have to stick with electric.

      They are coming out with a new 18” model. I will review that one when it is available.

    • @FernbarkFrist
      @FernbarkFrist  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on the trimmer. If you have 18v tools, it will not fit.

    I would like to get me an electric chainsaw. Lot of times around the farm, that would be perfect. Great review buddy. Can't think of any off the wall comments to make on this video. Maybe next time,😎. ✌️

      I like them because for 99% of what I cut, they are a much easier to use tool. Gas is still a little faster, but these new brushless models are close enough in speed it doesn't really matter.

    I love everything about it except for the low profile chain. I get why they went with it (smaller kerf happy battery) but keeping it sharp and finding replacements is a challenge. Don’t make me have to plan ahead and order things online!

    • @FernbarkFrist
      @FernbarkFrist  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't have a real problem with the chain. I just got into the habit of sharpening the chain and having coffee while my neighborhood sleeps.

    Part of me was hoping, like your earlier videos, you would be trying to hold the log with one hand and operate the cutting tool with the other. A log "vice"? Fancy

    • @FernbarkFrist
      @FernbarkFrist  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I couldn't find my chainsaw proof glove. So I had to haul out that log vice. It is easier to not hold a camera, a log, and a saw at the same time.

    Looks like that beer stump was harvested too early

    • @FernbarkFrist
      @FernbarkFrist  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was trimming it down, much like you pull suckers from a tomato plant, you have to trim unwanted stump down so that the beer inside can develop.
