    My parents and grandparents have always told me that whenever you are in other countries, "dangop gyud una sa Simbahan". That is, find the Catholic Church in the area, introduce yourself to the parish priest, and offer your services. I guess many Filipino Catholics were given this advice too...

      Same with my mom, I'm from the province. She told me to always visit or drop by the nearest Catholic church before going to work, and that I'm in Manila to work and not to follow other's belief.

      Sorry, Majority of USA protestant and evangelical. Not working.
      If you'll do that should be to a rab country more benefit and promising.

    • @ToxicPea
      @ToxicPea 3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      @@user-uo1sl6pt1z I mean it's not like we're trying to evangelize the US specifically. There are many Filipina women going out to European countries and arab states who bring their Faith with them. It's the ones that go to the US who are often protestantized and then decentralized from the Faith.

    Pope Francis is doing a great job. The Filipinos are a great Catholic people. Leo Fong who was a 40 years Pastor of the Methodist Church in Stockton asked me to shoot a movie for him in the Philippines in 1986 when the Communists had taken over. We couldn't leave the Hotel in Manila, the only place to go after work was the Playboy Club to dance with the. Catholic Bunnies -- Vic Alexander the perfect Catholic.

    God please hear my prayers.
    Please pray for my family. Like many other families the corona virus pandemic has impacted my life, me and my children have been struggling with the daily necessities Since the pandemic started. I’m still home schooling my two young children. So I’m limited with my hours for work plus my 7 year old is special needs I can’t just leave him with anyone. My Church is still closed and the Church was where I was getting most of my support. Losing hope, because of my situation. If you may help. My information is on my page. Thank you and God bless. I greatly appreciate it.

    Why didn't the Philippines decleare Christianity as the offical religion of the country?

    • @samuelfrancis458
      @samuelfrancis458 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Komisan In Egypt around 15% of the people are Christians and most of them belongs to coptic church.This makes Egypt, one of the largest christian population in Africa and middle east.But the Egypt decleared Islam as it's offical religion and Christian are suffering there a lot.So,Egypt can do that why not phlippines?Don't be a stupid.

      @@samuelfrancis458 You want to do that in Philippines? See. The war will happen in Southern Philippines and they will ask Malaysia and Brunei in Malay Muslim brotherhood for help. Both are rich and higher economic, what can you do? Don't forget that "REAL" (Pre-Hispanic) Filipino culture flourish in the South. Most of the Filipinos outside of the Southern Philippines are struggling with identity crisis, they only know their linguistic identity, but lost much of their cultural identity. So, the people who stick with their identity will determine the future of the land

      The makers of the Constitution followed the American model which declares Separation of Church and State. What would declaring Catholicism the state religion do? There are significant minorities of Islam and Protestantism also. This is fine because the Church does not require a special status under the Constitution. It might even make things more difficult if the Church were to have an official position because politicians will meddle.
