    Thank You so much. That 7/32 was stumping for the longest time.

    Thanks for this. One of mine has gone and sounds like a Dalek so I'll be following this soon. Saved me a lot of grief.

    Thank you so much for this video. I needed to get that top panel out cuz I have a horrible rattle under there I thought I was going to have to take the whole dash apart first. But not after watching this thank you

    Question! I am gonna have to remove my dash in order to access and replace my actuator on my Jeep Liberty 2004. how easy or hard is it to get into that area without having to trigger the airbags?

    Sweet. Appreciate the detail video. Shouldn't be hard now that I know the trick.

    I can’t find hex extractors??

  • @Panchochable
    @Panchochable 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hi! The enter of the extractor is 1/2, 1/4 or 3/8?

    • @texasknowhow3143
      @texasknowhow3143  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, it’s a small opening. Should be 1/4. Nothing larger than that. So, 7/32 socket on a 1/4 extention.

      Pull out the two rubber stoppers on the handles. Mine fit in the opening. Good luck!

    • @texasknowhow3143

      I put in 2.75” tweeters from Amazon. I had to cut out the old ones and hardwire the new ones.

      @Texas KnowHow I'm not sure if you know or not, but I have some bose tweeters that are 3 1/2 inches in diameter. Would I be able to drill out some plating and put in sheet metal screws to screw it down?

    • @MikeTysonsKneecap
      @MikeTysonsKneecap 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Texas KnowHow I mean the plating around the out line of where the tweeter go in

    • @texasknowhow3143
      @texasknowhow3143  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MikeTysonsKneecap The tweeter space is pretty maxed under the dash cover as you can see at :14. Cutting out the molded dash to fit in bigger tweeters in such a confined space is out of my jurisdiction really. I don't think I would try it personally. But, when there is a will, there is a way!

      howler361 I got 2.75” tweeters and the drivers fit perfectly and the passenger’s seat side needed a little harmless persuasion.
