Honestly I hated the ending for 9 months and continuously argue'ed on online platforms.(I still hate it right now) Then I realized this would probably happen to Germany/Nazi if they succeeded conquering the world. Isayama could've ended it by destroying paradise and erasing that worm who entered Ymir's spine so the cycle isn't gonna happen again and the world can finally live without the Titans. This is just my opinion ignore it if you don't like it.

Yeah I get that it's very much alike to WW2, but when it comes to the best possible outcome, it was really Erens only choice to save everyone. Even though it's a terrible thing, someone had to become the devil to save the future of the world. When you compare Eren's goal to hitlers, there are similarities but the difference is that Eren did it because he had to do it, activating the rumbling was the only way to end the cycle of hatred and death and achieve freedom. Because everyone from the outside world will always want to destroy Paradis no matter what. This was even confirmed in the last 8 pages. Eren failed and everything that Eren did was almost all for nothing.
